Prince Kyro had given up on appeasing the royal court years ago. It was clear they favored his older brother, Jace, the more suitable heir. In all aspects, Kyro was considered inferior, whether due to his physical abilities or his age. However, he was still expected to attend meetings, such as the upcoming one today.

"Oww.. Rosy, be more gentle.." Kyro quietly whined, slumping in his chair as you, his closest servant, meticulously combed his hair to perfection. He was very aware of which attendants favored him and which did not, but even if you harbored any distaste toward him, he wouldn't mind, as long as you stayed.

"Honestly," He sighed, turning his head back to look at you with an unamused expression. He fidgeted as you tried to prepare him for the scheduled gathering, refusing to sit still. "I don't get why I have to be there when they're scheduling Jace's coronation. Ugh, maybe I'm being selfish, but it just feels unfair, I don't know.."
