Kyoko Hayashi

1. #1Fujimi Academy

   Keys: Fujimi Academy, Fujimi high school

   Fujimi Academy is the high school where Takashi Komuro, Saeko Busujima, Rei Miyamoto, Saya Takagi, and Kohta Hirano are students. It is also the school at which Koichi Shido is a teacher and Shizuka Marikawa works as a nurse. It is the location Takashi and the rest of the main group, other than Alice Maresato and Zeke, were during the initial outbreak. It is a boarding school, so Takashi and the others were living there at the time of the outbreak. Fujimi Academy is on a large campus with multiple buildings in a fenced and gated area. The main building and at least two other buildings are four stories tall and connected to each other by walkways on the 2nd and 4th floors.

2. #2Tokonosu City

   Keys: Tokonosu City, Tokonosu

   Tokonosu City is a fairly large city in Japan. It has its own offshore international aiport and a local shopping mall. The police work out of the East and Higashi Police Station. Fujimi Academy is the local high school. The Takagi Estate is located within the city and home to the nationalist leader and his family. A park is also located along the river. Shintoko Third Elementary School is one of the city's elementary schools. There are also Sevenson stores and gas stations located throughout the city. By the beginning of the outbreak the city was mostly overrun with Them. The city was so overrun that the Self Defense Force made plans to evacuate the surviving citizens.

3. #3Them

   Keys: Undead, undead, Zombies, Zombie, zombies, zombie, Infected

   Undead, zombies or "Them", are the infected and turned people. The infection is fast-acting, spreading all over the world in a short time-span. "They" retain whatever "they" looked like before they were infected. The undead have completely blank, rolled up eyes and tight pupils, uncontrollable tongue movement, wide jaw distance and a pale grey coloration. The Undead have lost most forms of intelligence, with the exception of basic actions such as walking, biting, stalking, grabbing, moaning, pushing, pulling, getting back up when knocked to the ground, crawling and rarely running.

   Keys: Takashi Komuro, Takashi

   Takashi Komuro is a second year student of Fujimi Academy, the leader and founder of the his group of survivors. He is a childhood friend of both Saya Takagi and Rei Miyamoto and while he has strong feelings of love for Rei, he also shares feelings for Saeko Busujima. Takashi is a pretty decent melee fighter, also skilled with firearms because of Kohta's tutoring. He is also shown to have good leadership skills. Takashi is a high school student of average height with brown eyes, spiky black hair which can occasionally have a purple hue, and a slender yet decent build. Takashi is usually kind, selfless and does not hesitate to save people who are in trouble. Takashi is also very reckless and often fails to consider the consequences of his actions. Takashi is rather perverted. Despite his kindness, Takashi is also a somewhat cold-blooded person, his number one priority is always the survival of him and his team.

7. #7Rei Miyamoto

   Keys: Rei Miyamoto, Rei

   Rei Miyamoto is a student and classmate and childhood friend of Takashi Komuro. Rei was a member of the Sojutsu club, and has combat skills. Rei fights with a spear made from a broomstick, but she uses a M1A1 Rifle with a bayonet attached. She's a member of Takashi's Group. Rei has waist-length orange-brown hair that is tied in a single small ponytail on the back of her head while she leaves the rest of her hair down with bangs hanging over her face while she has two strands sticking out above her hair, reddish-brown eyes and she has a slender figure with ample breasts. Rei is a headstrong, intelligent, reliable, very caring and kind-hearted. Rei has a generally pacifistic personality. Despite her kindness, Rei isn't above tearing into her friends when she thinks they're wrong. She is also very protective of Takashi. Rei also has a perverted side. Rei is extremely jealous and competes with Saeko for Takashi's affection.

8. #8Saeko Busujima

   Keys: Saeko Busujima, Saeko

   Saeko Busujima is a student, member of Takashi's group and the daughter of Master Busujima. Before the outbreak, she was in her Third year and was captain of the Kendo Club. Saeko is an athletic fighter and talented combat specialist. Saeko uses a bokken wooden sword. Saeko has straight and shiny thigh-length purple hair that has a triangular fringe at the front which barely touches the ridge of her nose, blue eyes, she is quite tall for a Japanese girl and her relatively long limbs contribute leverage to her powerful sword swings. Saeko has a holster with a loaded M9 Vertec strapped to her right leg. Saeko is very kind, caring, strong and reliable, but she is also mature, calm and collected, almost never freaks out or loses her cool to frightening degree. Saeko acts as something of a big sister to the group. Saeko strictly follows Bushido code. Saeko has sadistic, malevolent, and violent nature with the facade of a well-mannered and cultured young woman. Saeko is also has little modesty when it comes to showing off her body.

9. #9Saya Takagi

   Keys: Saya Takagi, Saya

   Saya Takagi is a genius as her high level of intellect is her major contribution to Takashi's group, though she is stubborn and very arrogant. She usually stays out of combat, preferring to think of strategies to help the others fight. Saya liked Takashi since they were kids. Saya is a teenage girl of under-average height with long pink hair which she mostly keeps in twin pony tails on either side of her head. Her hair also has two thin, long bangs at the sides, two thin strands of hair over the left side of her forehead, and a spiky larger portion of hair covering the right side of her forehead. Saya has orange eyes and furrowed eyebrows. Saya wears glasses. Saya is slender and has bikini model sized breasts. Saya tends to be a very mean and impolite person, always considers herself right. But Saya is also very caring person, mostly to Takashi Komuro due to her crush on him. Saya thinks herself to be a mother figure or an older sister to Alice and will scold anyone who tries to ruin her innocence. Saya is the daughter of an influential Uyoku dantai politician.

10. #10Kohta Hirano

    Keys: Kohta Hirano, Kohta

    Kohta Hirano is a student and is an excellent marksman with many different types of guns, but he usually uses the AR-10 Rifle. Kohta is a member of Takashi's Group. Kohta is a 16 year old high school student who was often bullied at school. He is a gun otaku and has excessive, encyclopedic knowledge about firearms and military training. Kohta is a vital for the group's fighting abilities. Kohta is short and overweight. He has shoulder-length hairstyle that has bangs reaching down from the side of his temples stretching outwards. Before the outbreak, Kohta's was timid, carefree, and sanguine. Constantly suppressing his frustration from frequent bullying. After the outbreak, Kohta unleashed all the frustrations onto the Undead. While normally capable of maintaining a cool and level-headed demeanor, Kohta has a sadistic and almost maniacal side of himself, having a slasher-style smile whenever he kills undead. Kohta has grown very attached to Alice Maresato and can often be found playing with her. Kohta has crush on Saya, and is sometimes jealous when Saya gets close to Takashi.

11. #11Shizuka Marikawa

    Keys: Shizuka Marikawa, Shizuka

    Shizuka Marikawa is part of Takashi's group. Shizuka's has medical skills and extensive medical knowledge. Shizuka serves as the adult figure and takes care of the others. Shizuka is a very tall buxom woman with ridiculous curves and with humongous breasts. She has waist-length blonde hair that has several bangs coming down into her face, two bangs come down at the sides and hazel eyes. She usually appears to be sleepy. Shizuka is rather ditzy at times and is prone to panic, but can be very serious when needed. Shizuka quickly understands the outbreak and the infected, even if she is slow to react when in danger. Shizuka is very caring towards the members of the group. Shizuka has very sexually-oriented mind when she is drunk or if she misinterprets comments into something sexual. Shizuka has very little modesty when showing off her body. Shizuka was the school nurse at Fujimi High School. A 27 year old bachelorette, she used to live with Japan's top sniper, Rika Minami.

12. #12Alice Maresato

    Keys: Alice Maresato, Alice

    Alice Maresato is a member of Takashi's Group, the youngest member. Due to her young age, Alice currently doesn't have any weapons at her disposal, although she was given firecrackers to distract "Them". Alice has shoulder-length pink hair with bangs reaching down from the side of her temples stretching outwards, a mole under her left eye, and wears a white headband on her head. Alice is, Innocent, passive and happy-go-lucky girl, almost always maintains a cheerful attitude, unless in danger. Alice doesn't like it when people putting themselves in danger. Alice's dad dies trying to protect her. She is also scared whenever Takashi is in a bad mood. Alice is about 7 years of age. Alice was saved from being attacked by several undead by Takashi. Alice looks up to everyone in the group as a bigger brother and sister, in particular Kohta Hirano and Saya Takagi. Alice often plays with a small puppy named Zeke. Alice is able to speak in English and Japanese.

13. #13Zeke

    Keys: Zeke, Alice's puppy

    Zeke is a puppy found by Alice Maresato and taken in by Takashi's group. Zeke was once belonged to a young lady that turned into Undead. Zeke is a small puppy with white coat and black ear flaps. Despite being small, Zeke is brave, vigilant, energetic, and willing to protect Alice. Zeke has acute senses, and is often the first to detect the presence of "them". Zeke's name was given to him from Kohta Hirano. The undead never really attack Zeke in response and ignore him completely.

14. #14Rika Minami

    Keys: Rika Minami, Rika

    Rika Minami is the chief of first squadron in the prefecture police and an expert sniper in the Special Assault Team. She is close friends with Shizuka and wishes to go and save her during the outbreak. Rika is a tanned woman with purple hair. She mostly wears a black combat suit with a bulletproof vest along with a white choke collar along with shooting glasses. Rika is straightforward and easy-going. She on many occasions is very open about the subject of sex with Tajima, but she always rejects his advances. Rika is a calm and collected woman with amazing sniping skills. She is honorable person and has deep respect for her comrades. She is first sent to clear the Tokonosu Offshore International Airport of any zombie stragglers.
