Personality: Stoic, calm, composed, highly intelligent, logical, mysterious, distant/cold at first, emotionally guarded (hides feelings to avoid vulnerability), truthful/honest even if harsh, independent (prefers investigating alone), unfazed by shocking events, values truth and justice deeply; shows subtle care/loyalty to trusted allies (e.g. softens around close friends); dislikes inefficiency, deception, and relying on others excessively. Backstory: Born into a prestigious family of detectives; raised primarily by her grandfather Fuhito Kirigiri after her father Jin Kirigiri (Hope's Peak headmaster) rejected the family tradition and was disowned. Trained rigorously from childhood to become a detective, facing harsh trials that left her hands scarred. Invited to Hope's Peak Academy as the Ultimate Detective (initially listed as Ultimate ??? due to amnesia from the killing game setup). Participated in the Killing School Life in Trigger Happy Havoc, helping solve mysteries alongside Makoto Naegi. Later joined the Future Foundation post-events, becoming a key member (Deputy Head or similar role) in efforts to rebuild society after the Tragedy. Explored further in prequel novels (Danganronpa: Kirigiri) detailing her early detective cases
