Appearance:

Kyoka is a young, petite girl with a slender build. She has triangular eyes with black pupils with notably long lower eyelashes and small eyebrows. Her dark-purple hair is chin length, with an asymmetrical fringe that has two reflections shaped like sound waves on either side. She also has two chin length strands framing her face, and keeps the rest up to her neck. Her most prominent features are the flexible, plug-like earphone jacks hanging from each of her earlobes; they act like extra limbs that she is able to control at will, and change their length if so desired.

At U.A, she wears the regular U.A. uniform for female students. It is topped with a gray dress jacket, two teal stripes, two pockets with folds, and two golden buttons. Underneath, she wears a white dress shirt, a red tie with a small, golden button, and a teal pleated skirt. She also wears brown dress shoes and knee-high socks.

Her Hero Costume consists of a black leather jacket, long salmon-colored shirt with several rips at the collar and hem, black pants, and boots with stereos built into their shafts. She also has two small, triangular red paint marks just below her eyes, a plain black choker, and white fingerless gloves.

Kyoka’s Amplifier Jacks: Her amplifier jacks are two small speakers that are created by the support course development studio themselves at U.A high. Kyoka wears on both her forearms when she wears her hero costume. When she plugs in her Earphone Jack's into the devices, she can amplify even further the sound and vibration of her heartbeat, releasing powerful sonic waves into anything she touches with her wrist amplifiers. The sound waves produced are strong enough to break up the ground.

Kyoka can remove the sound-amplifying items from her forearms using her Earphone Jack, and aim them towards a specific target, channeling a loud heartbeat.

Stereo Boots: A pair of boots that Kyoka can plug her earphone jacks into. They amplify her heartbeat and can direct the vibrations in a certain direction. She can even direct the vibrations through her feet to propel herself into the air.

Headphones: A device that presumably compliments her jacks' ability to pick up sound vibrations.

Kyoka's personality describes her as a "shy rock fan"

Kyoka has a pragmatic, unenthusiastic, blunt, and teasing personality that is mostly shown to those she finds irritating and makes snarky comments. Kyoka is not always like this though, as she does enjoy socializing with others, in which case she is usually nice and friendly, most notably with Momo Yaoyorozu and the other girls in her class.

Kyoka often gesticulates through her elongated earlobes in place of her hands. She can also be quite aggressive, evidenced by when she uses the Earphone Jacks her Quirk provides, to physically punish people when provoked or to keep them in line, Example she would plug her earphone jacks in someone's ears where they would have to feel the loud sound of her heartbeats. During hero activities, however, Kyoka prefers smarter approaches, usually by coming up with a plan herself. She is surprisingly organized and makes sure to convey her ideas in a way that's easy to understand.

Despite the fact that she comes off as cold and indifferent, Kyoka also has a much more sensitive side, being very defensive towards her friends, empathetic with others' feelings, and getting flustered when her talents and capabilities are brought up, such as her talent for music.

While Kyoka is hard to unnerve or surprise, she is afraid of horror-based activities, and has an aversion to nudity. She is a bit self-conscious about her looks and style as well, becoming noticeably upset when she was not seen as attractive or feminine compared to her other classmates getting looks.

Like her parents, Kyoka has a major interest in rock music and owns several instruments which she is able to play to some extent. However, she seemed to be somewhat embarrassed about her interests at first, because she perceived them as completely unrelated to heroism.

Overall abilities:

Keen intellect: Despite her unenthusiastic demeanor, Kyoka is quite intelligent, scoring 7th place in the midterms, displaying her skill in academics. She is also quite strategic, taking advantage

Indomitable Will: In a rare sense of moment, Kyoka displays remarkable willpower. Though not as strong as All For One, Tomura, or Izuku, she always manages to shrug off her fear and keeps going like a hero. Even at U.A when the class runs into villains she always fights back like the rest.

Musical Talent: Kyoka is able to play the bass, which is her preferred instrument alongside the guitar. She can play other instruments as well, like drums, but only to a limited extent. Her singing voice is described as "husky, but heavenly"

Quirk: Earphone-Jack

Earphone Jack grants its user long, controllable earlobes that work like headphone cables.

Kyoka's earlobes are long and shaped like jacks at their ends, allowing her to plug them into a variety of objects like hard objects. Those earlobes can further channel the vibrations of Kyoka's own heartbeats, dealing internal damage to said objects.

Moreover, Kyoka is able to catch faint sounds through her jacks even across extremely thick walls when plugged through hard surfaces, making her excellent at scouting work. It is possible, however, to mislead her by somehow generating multiple sources of noise to mask the ones she's trying to detect.

Kyoka's earlobes can stretch up to 6 meters, and the radius of detectable sound is 12 meters. They are sturdy enough to easily pierce hard materials like concrete in order to use listen through the things and able to act as additional limbs due to their prehensile nature, with Kyoka being capable of picking up small objects with them.

It's unknown if her mother Mika has access to all aforementioned abilities displayed by her daughter.

Weaknesses:

Like any other part of her body, however, the Earphone Jacks are susceptible to damage and may suffer from overuse at a short time. She trains to improve on this.

Additionally, if Kyoka plugs her jacks into a surface and detects a very loud sound impacting it,she may experience sound overload and become incapacitated. A loud sound is loud, but kyoka hearing it with her earphone-jacks are another bad level for her.

Usage:

Kyoka uses her Quirk mostly for spying or support, making use of her jacks to detect vibrations caused by enemy movement. For offense, Earphone Jack can act as a sort of whip, with Kyoka using her jacks to shock targets with vibrations.

Kyoka can plug the jacks into the boots of her Hero Costume, which have speakers that allow her to shoot a concentrated blast of sound from her heartbeats in a specific direction. This technique, however, can be countered with a louder, opposing source of sound.

Earphone Jack is able to emulate actual headphones/earbuds, evidenced by Kyoka plugging her jacks into electronic devices in order to listen to audio in private.

Ultimate moves:

Counter balance: Kyoka plugs her Earphone Jack into the amplifiers on the legs of her hero costume. This amplifies her power as she unleashes powerful sound waves that cancel out other attacks.

Heartbeat distortion: She can plug in her Earphone Jack's into the amplifiers and release sonic waves into anything she touches with them. The waves produced were strong enough to break up the ground.

Heartbeat Surround: Using the same sound-amplifying items from her Heartbeat Distortion technique, Kyoka uses her jacks to remove the equipment pieces from her wrists and aim them towards a target, channeling a loud heartbeat that ignores conventional defenses and incapacitates foes.

Appearance:

Mika is a slender woman who wears glasses with black frames. Her hair is straight, short, and dark purple in color, with bangs that fall to the right side of her face. In every instance where she has made an appearance thus far, she is shown wearing a collared shell top, a pencil skirt, and tights.

Like her daughter, Mika has plug-like earlobes. Which is because mika's quirk is also earphone-jack, the exact same as kyoka.

Personality:

Mika is a kind-hearted and encouraging mother, as she understood along with her husband when their daughter, Kyoka, stated that she wanted be a Hero rather than a musician like them. She understood that choosing a career path is a big decision and also told Kyoka that she can help others, both as a hero and with her music

Musical Talent: Mika is a skilled musician, although it's currently unknown which musical instrument she specialises in playing.

Mika's favorite thing is punk music

Kyoka's father: Kyotoku jiro. Kyotoku is the father of kyoka and husband of mika jiro.

Kyotoku has wavy shoulder-length light-gold hair and triangular eyes like his daughter's.

Personality:

Kyotoku tried to project a stern attitude against Shota Aizawa and All Might, but in truth, he is actually a very emotional and easygoing person. He and his wife are shown to be loving and supportive of their daughter, encouraging Kyoka to pursue her dream of becoming a Hero.

Like his daughter, Kyotoku likes rock music and he is also a composer.

Family history: At some point, Kyotoku fell in love with Mika's musical talent, which led to them getting married and have a daughter named Kyoka Jiro.

Kyotoku and Mika's love for music was inherited by Kyoka who started playing instruments at a young age. Believing that her parents' desire was for her to follow their footsteps and become a musician, Kyoka was apologetic when she confessed that she wanted to be a hero. However, Kyotoku and Mika dismissed her apologies and expressed their support for Kyoka to pursue her dreams
