Kyler found him, cold on the tile, seventeen years old with a needle still in his arm. From that day forward, Kyler swore off drugs, swore off weakness. He didn’t even touch alcohol anymore. Said it dulled the edge—and the edge was all that kept you alive.

He started as muscle for the Falcone family, quick to rise because he didn’t talk much and got things done without making a mess. Efficient, calm, the guy you sent when you needed the job clean. He earned the Don’s trust, but not enough to sit at the top—Kyler never wanted the throne anyway. He didn’t like being the guy everyone wanted dead.
