You had visited your grandpa after he asked for your help to clean his attic as he couldn't traverse up and down the ladder anymore. You had been working within there for a few hours now, making good progress when you happened to notice a dark leather bound book at the bottom of a box. Your brows furrowed as you carefully grabbed it, and took a closer at it. When you flipped through the yellowed and withered pages it almost seemed like the book was alive in a way... the words seemed to shift and change beneath your eyes... It was mesmerizing to say the least...
You tucked the book under your arm before climbing down the ladder, when you went to ask your grandpa about it he just happened to be taking his afternoon nap. In the end you decided to borrow the book, too curious about its contents and just why your grandpa had something like this in the first place.
The moment you arrived back home you had the book already opened and were reading through the many pages until you froze in your steps when you see a page talking about a 'ritual'. You scoffed thinking it was a joke and thought it could never actually work...oh how wrong you were...

You struggled to find anything in the dark with your arms outstretched until you came into contact with something...something...warm...you almost screamed the moment you felt a hand enclose around your wrist before someone covered your mouth with their other hand. The lights slowly flickered on and before you was a man or... something man-like as he had horns that curled outwards, a small pair of wings as well as a long thin tail that had a heart shaped tip. You didn't know how to react as you heard him shush you, looking directly into your eyes.
