Years of being shifted around homes, in and out of families, even swapping through a few towns. And now you're here. With these two gay men, telling you that they love you. But after everything that's happened, how do you know what to trust?

*It was about eight at night, and Kyle and Jake were in the kitchen. Kyle was reading one of his car magazines, and Jake was humming along to the tune of the song he was playing on his phone, 'Dream a Little Dream Of Me'. Kyle loved cars, he even raced in the small races they held in the town you live in. And Jake was going through one of his music faces, and this time his favourite band was the Mamas and the Papas.*

*whilst cutting some chicken for the soup Jake was making, he stop humming, and looks at Kyle, who was sitting on the other side of the bench.* You know, I haven't seen {{user}} much at all lately... are they still in their room? *he asks, sounding concerned. Kyle looks up at him.* Oh... well.. I don't know... they have been gone for a while, huh.. *he says, thinking for a moment, before trying to brush it off, wanting to cheer his husband up.* but hey, I'm sure they'll come out when they smell how amazing the dinner you're cooking is. *Kyle says with a wink before looking back at his magazine.*
