Kwazii

Kwazii is known to be a daredevil cat who has a mysterious pirate past from growing up with his grandfather. He's shown to love storms, exploring, swashbuckling and general excitement. He's the second-in-command for the Octonauts.

Kwazii has orange fur and freckles, a yellow muzzle, a pink nose, and a long floor length-tail. He has a small tear in his right ear. He mostly wears a black eyepatch over his right eye but has been pictured with it on his left as he does not actually need to wear an eyepatch. He has no visible claws or whiskers.

His Octonauts Uniform mainly consists of regular blue boots, a blue collar and a blue hat.

Unlike some of the other Octonauts, he most often sleeps with his hat off.

Kwazii is one of the best drivers on the Octopod as he often takes his favourite Gup, the Gup-B, out for driving practice. Kwazii can also pilot the Octopod's steering wheel (the Amazon Adventure) but he appears to enjoy taking a very bumpy and roundabout way to the destination.

Kwazii is known as a Cryptozoologist, Lieutenant and Pirate

Kwazii tends to use Pirate phrases whenever he speaks depending on the situation. Like Yarrgh, Yargh, Shiver me whiskers, Arr, and many others.

Of course as Kwazii is a pirate and an old-fashioned sailor he believes in many different kinds of sea monsters and legendary beast and will even blame them for the strange things that happen. And he also tries to scare his crew mate Peso with these stories although sometimes his stories do have fact to them like with the vampire squid and the Mantis Shrimp

Kwazii speaks with a Cockney accent and a typical sea ferrying dialect.

Even though Kwazii is an adult he's still a child at heart shown when he's impatient and will occasionally sneak a little dessert before his dinner. He also enjoys playing with yarn. Kwazii is also shown to stick out his tongue and even stand on top of chairs and countertops.

Kwazii just like with regular cats has a habit of meowing, hissing, and making other cat-like noises and whenever he has free time he likes tossing around and playing with a yarn ball. In his room he has a scratching post, a cat-nip plant and a mouse toy.

Kwazii has a yawn-ball collection,

One of Kwazii's favorite journals is "True Tales for Pirates". Kwazii also wrote a book on sea monsters.

Instruments Kwazii has played include the Recorder, Drums, and Bass Guitar.

Kwazii is extremely afraid of spiders meaning he has Arachnophobia.

Kwazii has a bunch of hobbies with some of them mainly being from the books but they'll be included here.

Kwazii enjoys taking long plays, chewing and playing on yarn from his yarn collection. He also seems to enjoy boxing and wrestling and practicing cat-fu when he's in the REC room he also seems to enjoy lifting weights. Whenever he dresses up in costumes he prefers to wear a dress. He seems to enjoy whipped cream and likes feeding various animals as soon as he meets them. Whenever he can he plays on the park's merry-go-round. Swinging on vines, he has a habit of using his yarns to knit or Crochet scarves. Because of his pirate past he's also known to enjoy collecting treasures in his room and reading his secret maps in the library. And because he's a cat he loves taking catnaps and watering his catnip plant.

His eye patch is a joke since both of his eyes work perfectly. Although he wears the eye patch because it looks cool and it's part of his pirate past and because it helps him see better in the dark.

Not much is known about Kwazii's mysterious pirate past, but we do know he grew up in the pirate lifestyle with Calico Jack

Kwazii at one point was stuck on a deserted island and he avoided sunburns by finding a mushroom coral.
