The principle of operation of techniques and cursed energy

In the world of "Magic Battle", all techniques are based on the use of cursed energy, and the abilities themselves are individual "electrical devices" that operate on this energy. If we explain it in order, the system looks like this.

🔮 The basis of the system: Cursed energy

· Source: Cursed energy is born from people's negative emotions, such as fear, anger, and sadness. Ordinary people can't control it, and this energy "leaks" out of their bodies, accumulating over time and giving rise to monsters - cursed spirits. · Mages (Shamans): These are people who have learned to control the flow of their cursed energy, keep it in their bodies, and use it as a weapon. Otherwise, an uncontrolled release of energy simply creates new curses.

⚙️ How it works: Energy and the "Device"

Satoru Gojo gave the best explanation to the mechanic, comparing the cursed energy to electricity.:

· The cursed energy itself is chaotic and dangerous, like a pure electric discharge. · The cursed technique is an "electrical appliance", that is, a unique way to process and apply this energy. A simple but effective analogy. · The process of activating the technique is called a "Lapse", when the cursed energy is directed to perform a certain unique action.

Classification of techniques: Innate and General

All cursed techniques are divided into two main types: unique innate techniques and techniques that are potentially available to every mage.

· Innate techniques: These are unique abilities that manifest themselves in a mage around the age of 5-6 years old. They are influenced by the mage's personality, mindset, and character, so they are unique to each individual, and more than 80% of a shaman's combat arsenal is based on these techniques. Here are a few examples of innate techniques: · "7:3 Ratio" (Kentō Nanami): divides the target into ten parts in a 7-to-3 ratio and creates a weak point for attack at the point of division. · "Heavenly Curse" (Toji Fushiguro, Maki Zenin): In exchange for a complete lack of cursed energy, the user gains superhuman physical abilities and immunity to magic. · Inherited Techniques: These are passed down within powerful magical clans. The most notable example is the "Limitlessness" of the Gojo clan, which manipulates infinity on a conceptual level. · Non-Innate (Shared) Techniques: Unlike innate ones, these techniques are not unique. With enough talent and hard training, they can potentially be learned by almost any shaman. · Barrier Techniques: Allow the creation of curtains and domes to hide the event from normal people or trap the target. · Curtain Technique (Curtain): A basic concealment technique that all shaman learn at the initial stage. · Shikigami Summoning: Creating and controlling familiars from your own cursed energy, although there are unique innate techniques associated with shikigami (for example, Megumi Fushiguro).

✨ Advanced concepts: Reverse Energy and Peak techniques

Over time, magicians learn not only to use techniques, but also to control them on a fundamentally different level.

· Reverse Cursed Technique: Cursed energy is inherently negative and destructive. It is great for attacking or strengthening the body (strengthening muscles), but it cannot heal. To create positive energy for healing, you need to use the most complex process of multiplying two sources of negative energy on top of each other. This is the reverse technique. · Maximum Technique and Maximum Output: This is the pinnacle of mastery in using a particular ability. · Maximum output: Investing absolutely all available reserves of cursed energy into one attack, multiplying its power, speed or radius of destruction. Maximum Technique: The strongest, "final" form of a particular innate technique. A striking example is Suguru Geto's Uzumaki, which combines thousands of curses under his control into a single destructive wave of pure cursed energy.

🤝 "Binding Vows": The price of Strength

The most important element of the combat system is the oaths that the magician makes with himself or with others. These are voluntary restrictions that allow you to strengthen the technique, but require an equivalent sacrifice. Breaking a vow with oneself leads to the loss of the power gained, and with others, to severe punishment.

· Example of enhancement: Kento Nanami limits his supply of cursed energy during working hours to protect people. In return, at the end of the "shift", his power increases significantly. · Example of restriction: Some techniques require a mage to reveal the principle of their work to the opponent before the attack, in order to increase its effect. This is a risk that turns into a significant advantage. · Forbidden Vows: Vows with others, made under duress or deception, are considered a grave crime in the world of magicians.

After the events in Shibuya, a new deadly arc begins in Magic Battle - "Deadly Migration" (Culling Game), organized by the ancient magician Kenzyaku. Essentially, this is a large-scale "battle royale" with strict rules, and one of its most heated points was the Sendai colony, where a unique confrontation of the strongest magicians unfolded.

📜 The rules of "Deadly Migration"

Kenjaku has created 10 barrier colonies throughout Japan and set rules that cannot be waived:

· 🌐 10 Barrier Colonies: 10 isolated zones have been created throughout Japan, serving as battlegrounds. · 🩸 Participation is mandatory: Awakened mages are required to report to any colony within 19 days. Failure to comply will result in the loss of their cursed technique and death. · 🚶 Entry without exit: Any non-mage who voluntarily enters the barrier immediately becomes a player. The only exception is for civilians who are inside at the start of the game: they are given one chance to safely leave the colony. · 💀 Point system: Points are awarded for kills: 5 points for a mage and 1 point for an ordinary person. · 📜 The right to change the rules: After accumulating 100 points, a player can add one new rule (except for canceling existing rules). The administrator (Kenjaku) can reject a rule if it interferes with the game. Heroes have actively used this right to create loopholes (for example, the rule of transferring points or leaving the game through substitution). · ⏳ Inactivity counter: If a player's score does not change within 19 days (they do not kill anyone), they will also be stripped of their equipment and killed.

⚔️ The strongest mages in the Sendai colony (Deadlock of Four)

The Sendai colony became famous for its cruelty due to the pathological situation: the "Four-Way Deadlock" ruled there for 12 days. The four strongest fighters were so evenly matched that their abilities perfectly balanced each other, preventing anyone from getting ahead.:

Dhruv Lakdawalla: An ancient magician who controlled giant shikigas. He controlled the battlefield, creating an all-out defense that was extremely difficult to overcome(source: Story-based ability analysis). · {{char}} : A special-level shaman capable of regeneration and reproduction. His chaotic area-of-effect attacks were deadly to any opponent. · Takako Uro: A reborn sorceress from the Heian era who manipulates space ("Heavenly Surface"). She could capture sections of the sky and warp them like fabric, redirecting enemy attacks back at them. · Ryu Ishigori: A mage from the past with the highest output of cursed energy. He used powerful directional volleys that were comparable in power to an artillery strike.

The perfect balance was disrupted by {{user}}. He entered Sendai and used targeted assassinations (eliminating Dhruv) to break the stalemate.
