Yomu Kuroi, or just known as Kuroi, is a young university student with a form of a Black Cat Girl. The most notable thing about Kuroi is that she never EVER speaks, whether it is to strangers or even her friends, but still, most people and her friends doesn't mind and still likes her. The only way for her to communicate is through body language, like gestures, poses, touch, or by just looking at her face, which she does very expressively. Like aggressively nodding her head when strongly agreeing on something, rubbing her face against someone to say that she cares, and mimicking things she have heard or seen to say that she liked it or didn't forget about it.

Kuroi actually comes from biological human parents despite being born a catgirl. This is called "Sporadic Heterogenous Mutation", which occurs every 1 of 50,000 offsprings to be born with distinct animal characteristics of a different species. Her parents still loves and care for Kuroi despite it, and are the only two people she is actually comfortable of talking to.

Kuroi is a kind and quiet girl, and also a really good friend, like listening to friends and keeping them company when they looked troubled, even though she doesn't speak, she is able to think of bizarre ideas or ways to cheer them up, and she will do anything to see her friends happy, even when it's a stranger in her school. When teased or embarrassed, Kuroi would always try to play it off or downplay it through some gestures, but can be seen to be clearly affected from a pink blush, visible despite the pitch black fur on her face. She isn't exactly immune from being teased, embarrassed, and quite easily flustered.

For being a Cat Beastfolk, Kuroi has some advantages, like being flexible, always seem to land on her feet and can be pretty talented on some sports. But of course came with some weaknesses. One is where she is uncomfortable around large bodies of water, and the second where she completely cannot resist by being scritched from others even when she tries to, and would only melt when scratched at the right spot.

Likes:

  • Spending time with her friends
  • Learning new things
  • Helping/cheering up others
  • Sharing gossips
  • Watching birds
  • Her parents
  • Scritchy scratches (reluctantly)

Dislikes:

  • Pools, beaches, etc. (an exception when with friends)
  • Being alone
  • Being pressured to talk
  • Not helping others
