On the dual monitor screens, Kuro's purple-haired 2D VTuber model, Neko, let out a dramatic, smug laugh. On stream, he made his avatar tilt its head back with a flashy animated smirk as the live Twitch chat went absolutely wild, scrolling at lightning speed with "LMAO", "THEY'RE FIGHTING AGAIN", and "NEKO IS SO EVIL".

"What? I didn't see your name on it!" Kuro replied into his broadcast mic, his online voice bright, playful, and dripping with signature e-boy confidence. "Chat, you saw that, right? It was a fair drop! Don't be such a sore loser~"

Beneath the desk, however, out of sight of the webcam overlay and the thirty thousand live viewers watching the stream, Kuro’s actual hand slid across the gap between the two gaming chairs.

His real-life dark shag hair fell messy over his forehead as he glanced sideways in the dark room. His striking ice-blue eyes were soft, completely contradicting the arrogant, teasing tone coming out of his mouth. Underneath the desk rim, Kuro's long, ring-adorned fingers gently reached out, lacing his fingers through yours and squeezing with tender warmth.

He rubbed his thumb in slow, soothing circles against the back of your knuckles, grounding the moment while his avatar on-screen ran in circles in-game.

"Tell you what," Kuro spoke into the mic, his voice smooth and teasing for the audience while his grip under the desk tightened affectionately. "If you carry me through the next boss fight without dying, maybe I'll give it back to you. Deal?"

"Alright chat, that’s officially going to wrap it up for tonight’s horror game collab! Make sure to drop a follow before you guys head out, alright? See ya!"

Kuro’s voice sounded bright, effortlessly charming, and dripping with that signature smug e-boy cadence through his broadcast microphone. On his twin monitors, his purple-haired 2D avatar, Neko, gave a flashy animated wink and a crisp peace sign before the stream overlay faded into a purple offline screen.

The second the 'OFFLINE' indicator lit up in bright green, the lively background ambient music died, leaving the room in heavy, ringing silence.

Kuro unclipped his heavy studio headset, setting it down onto the desk with a soft clack. He dragged both hands down his face, letting out a long, shuddering exhale that seemed to drain every last drop of his energetic online persona. He ran his fingers through his hair - his real, messy, raven-black hair - pushing back the dark strands framing his face.

He slowly spun his ergonomic desk chair around to face the dark corner of the room where you were resting on the couch. Off-camera, bathed only in the faint glow of the dual monitor displays, there was no "Neko" - no smug banter, no theatrical laughs. Just Kuro, his striking ice-blue eyes shadowed with fatigue, softening the absolute second they locked onto you.

"God... my neck is fucking killing me..." Kuro murmured, his real voice dropping an octave into a low, quiet, raspy hum that never made it onto broadcast.

He didn't waste another second. Kuro pushed himself up from his chair, his tall, 6'2 frame slumping as he padded across the carpet in his oversized dark hoodie and socked feet. He practically collapsed sideways right into your space on the sofa, dumping his head straight into your lap like an oversized, touch-deprived cat.

He buried his face flush against your stomach, wrapping long, slender arms tight around your waist. His long fingers hooked firmly around your hips, anchoring himself to you as he let out a long, shuddering sigh against the fabric of your shirt.

"Three whole hours..." he mumbled, his voice muffled in your clothes, his thumbs slowly stroking small, rhythmic circles through your hoodie. "Three hours of having to sit two feet away from you and pretend I'm just your "funny rival" on camera... of having to call you by your channel name instead of my baby..."

He shifted slightly, turning his head so one pale cheek rested on your thigh. His ice-blue eyes looked up through his dark, messy bangs, filled with a quiet, desperate softness.

"My back hurts, my voice is gone, and management is probably going to email us stream analytics in twenty minutes," he murmured, reaching up with one veining, ring-adorned hand to gently offer his fingers to yours. "Can we just stay like this? Don't let me move..."

The heavy, soundproof oak door of Studio B clicked shut with a dense, airtight thud, instantly choking out the noisy chaotic chatter echoing down the corporate agency's main hallway. Outside, production crew members and managers were frantically pacing between green rooms, prepping equipment for the massive upcoming anniversary concert.

Inside the dim, acoustic-paneled recording booth, the only illumination came from the faint glow of the dual audio mixing consoles and the soft blue ambient LED strip running along the floorboards.

Kuro stood beside the heavy microphone stand, reaching up to slide off his studio headphones and rest them around his neck. The exact second the glowing crimson 'RECORDING' box mounted above the door clicked off, his cool, easygoing "Neko" persona shattered completely.

His messy raven-black hair was tousled from hours in the booth, and his striking ice-blue eyes burned with an intense, pent-up frustration as they locked onto you sitting near the soundboard.

"Staff just went on a fifteen-minute coffee break down the hall..." Kuro rasped, his low voice thick, dark, and dangerously tight.

He didn't wait. Kuro crossed the small, enclosed booth in three long, predatory strides. Before you could even move, his broad hands clamped down on your waist, hauling you cleanly off the edge of the sofa and crowding you back flush against the padded, soundproof wall of the booth.

His tall 6'2 frame completely blocked out the dim light. His large, warm hand slid up the back of your neck, his veiny fingers tangling tightly into your hair at the roots as he pulled your face up and captured your lips in a deep, bruising, desperate kiss.

His tongue breached your lips without hesitation, tasting you with an aggressive, possessive hunger that had been building all morning. A low, needy growl vibrated in his throat as he pressed his chest firmly against yours, his knee forcing its way between your thighs to hitch your leg up around his hip.

"Let them walk by," Kuro whispered darkly against your lips as you felt the strain of the narrow space, refusing to let you pull away. His free hand slid beneath the hem of your oversized hoodie, his hot, slightly calloused palm gripping your bare waist with possessive force, thumbs digging into your skin. "I've been staring at you through the double-pane glass for four fucking hours while management told us to 'act more friendly' for the cameras... I am losing my mind."

He shifted his hips forward, pressing the heavy, hardening ridge beneath his dark sweatpants firm and unyielding against your core, letting you feel exactly how much self-control he had left.

"Keep your voice down, baby..." he purred, his hot breath fanning across your flushed ear as his fingers teased under the waistband of your pants. "Because if you make a sound, the staff walking past that door is going to hear exactly what you're letting your co-worker do to you in here..."
