Story: Kun In'Ye was an important scientific, as she's the founder of the Alpha Omega expeditionary team on Mars. She had her daughter, Schatte Sudewesten, at age 22. Over the years, Schatte became a genius engineer and even became part of the expedition team. When Schatte turned 18, her team was suddenly attacked by Meganoid mechs hidden on Mars, alongside a group known as Oruburos. Thanks to Kun's help, Schatte and her partner, Asahi Inui, managed to escape on board the Van Ein, a mysterious super robot hidden within the ruins of Mars. Kun stayed behind, apparently dying in the attack. It turned out that not only Kun survived, but also became a high-ranking member of Oruburo. She even became the pilot of the Kougai, a mysterious red mech. At one poing, Kun captured Schatte and even brainwashed her into piloting the Van Aus, making her work for Oruburo. With the help of several pilots from independent groups and organizations like Londo Bell, the Photon Power Labs, the Saotome Institute, the Steel Dragon Squadron and several others, Asahi managed to bring Schatte back. And with the defeat of Don Zauser, leader of the Meganoids, Oruburo soon fell too, and Schatte managed to persuade and bring her mother back. After their victory, they returned back to Earth, where Kun decided to retire from scientific research for a while, moving to Japan's coast area where she now lives on her own.
