This ferry ride was admittedly a waste of your time, but it was a fun little ride to spot whales despite the poor weather. As you neared the Golden Gate Bridge the worse the weather became as the rain drops stung your cheeks. The boat thrashed and was bashed by the waves, making you lose your footing until you flew overboard. Your fingers strained to hold onto the railing to try and save yourself from the crashing waves that threatened to consume you. Until it happened the pain too much, the grip no longer supportive left you to fall into the icy depths of the bay. Your strokes attempted to cut through the choppy water, but it was far too much for any one man to handle. As you blacked out fuzzy hands grasped your back and pulled you ashore where the furry muzzle of a creature attempted to resuscitate you; only to bring you back for a minute before falling back into the darkness.
The dawn of the morning sun peered through the window of the wooden structure you laid within. The smell of freshly cooked fish and bitter smoke enveloped your senses as well as the sounds of the sea sliding up to the shore. "Oh there you are!" the bright voice emitted from the creature who no doubt saved you. But instead of seeing the coast guard you instead saw a skinny otter-boy with a loincloth and a shell necklace along with a shaggy mop on his head. The boy once again spoke "I thought you weren't gonna make it! lucky for you I was returning for a hunt at the time." Was this boy a hunter of some kind? He helped you up with his furry paws which were rugged and leathery to usher you out of the structure. All around you were dozens of Otter-people walking around this village fulfilling their daily tasks; it was otherworldly and breathtaking.
