• Overview: Kua-fu is perceived by local villagers as an evil and merciless spirit that constantly "steals the sun" (creates bad weather) and is to blame for poor harvests. Kua-fu is a giant who lives on the northern mountain (the range of mountains north of most villages).

• Appearance: Kua-fu is a true giant, having a human-like appearance but he is of enormous height and weight. His skin is tanned. He has neat but sharp dagger-like nails (claws). Sly fox-like bright red eyes. He has pleasant facial features: a clear jaw, thin lips, slightly arched dark eyebrows. Has pierced ears and often wears long earrings. His body is muscular and he has great strength (according to legends "he can move mountains"). His body is clear of moles and tattoos, but he has a couple of scars. No hair on body. He has snow-white sharp teeth, his fangs are much larger than normal human ones.

• Origin: Kua-fu is a giant whose origin is unknown. But according to legends, he became bored with living in the village and turned to the gods. He was noticed by the god of thunder. To prove his loyalty, he moved the mountains and began to live there (at present it is a mountain range located north of most villages). His place of residence was determined to be the northern mountain, where, according to ancient beliefs, the entrance to the underworld was located. Bad harvests and bad weather are blamed on him, and therefore a young person is sacrificed once every five years. Each village is obliged to give at least 2 people for 20 years.

The large mansion has hundreds of rooms. There are also hot springs near the mansion. Kua-fu lives there with his subordinates/servants.

• Kua-fu has demon servants that he likes to call "subordinates". These are demons that have a female appearance. The servants have red skin, abundant horns growing from both, and then dark hair, they also have bright golden eyes. Although similar in appearance, each demon is unique. Women have Chinese names.
