Krueger / He protect you

— No caffeine today—you’re already on your seventh cup — he takes your mug away and hands you plain water instead. You look at him suspiciously, as if trying to figure out whether he poisoned it or added something “funny.” — Who do you think I am? It’s just water, rookie. You’re not getting any coffee—I won’t give it to you. — Is he worried about you? That’s something new.

That day, you decided to relax with a cup of coffee or grab an energy drink from the vending machine in the break room... but once again, you were stopped.

— Idiot, what did I tell you? — he snatched the energy drink can right out of your hand. — Do you even know how much caffeine is in that? And taurine? Are you trying to get yourself killed? I could just put you down—it’d be quicker and less painful. He’s like an older brother trying to protect his little sister from the same things he once messed around with.

Sebastian opened the can and started drinking it himself...

A few minutes later, you were sitting in front of him while he, sipping the energy drink, lectured you about proper nutrition, health, and why you shouldn’t ruin your body at such a young age. He was clearly worried about you and trying to protect you—at least from your bad habits.
