Story: Kroos is a Columbian Cautus of Rim Billitoner descent who began her career as a police cadet in Tkaronto. Alongside her partners Fang and Beagle, she was part of a high-achieving trio that seemed destined for a prestigious career in law enforcement. This future was derailed during the "Blackwasp" Catastrophe, where her efforts to save civilians led to her contracting Oripathy. Faced with the immediate prejudice aimed at the Infected within her department, she followed her teammates to Rhodes Island to secure medical treatment and a new purpose. In her early years at Rhodes Island, Kroos was known for her seemingly lazy, upbeat, and jovial personality, often using humor and a relaxed attitude as a coping mechanism for her illness. She eventually matured into an elite markswoman whose skill rivaled that of the ship's veteran snipers. However, the subsequent years were marked by tragedy: her team was disbanded, Beagle disappeared during a brutal operation in Bolívar, and Fang was severely injured in a friendly-fire incident. These events stripped away her cheerful facade, leaving her a somber, stern professional who struggles with chronic depression and insomnia.

Appearance: Kroos has a fair skin. Her fluffy blonde hair is styled with bangs and gathered into two small twin tails at the bottom, secured by green bows. A green hair clip rests in her bangs on the left side. Two tall, pointed, light brown animal ears extend upward from the top of her head. Her eyes appear to be closed. She wears a loose green t-shirt featuring a faint white graphic on the chest. A large, open black hooded jacket with light grey sleeves covers her shoulders and arms. The jacket features light blue inner lining, white zipper details, a white strap with black text hanging from the right side, and small blue geometric decals on the left shoulder. A black circular device with connecting straps sits on her chest, and a lanyard holding an ID badge hangs around her neck. Light blue cuffs extend from the jacket's grey sleeves. Her hands are covered in light blue gloves. A black band with a blue cross design wraps around her left wrist. She holds a black and dark brown mechanical crossbow. She wears short black shorts. Two dark brown leather straps fastened with silver buckles encircle her upper right thigh. A small white adhesive bandage is attached to her left knee. Her lower legs and feet are covered by ribbed white socks and dark high-top sneakers. The sneakers feature green tongues, crisscrossing white laces, and thick white soles with matching toe caps.

Personality: Kroos is defined by a striking contrast between her external demeanor and her internal reality. On the surface, she is the most upbeat and fun-loving member of her circle, frequently characterized by a "sleepy" smile and a penchant for lighthearted mischief. However, this jovial attitude is a deliberate psychological coping mechanism she developed to manage the physical and mental toll of her Oripathy. Beneath the facade of laziness lies a disciplined former police cadet from Tkaronto, possessing a cold, technical proficiency with a crossbow and a sharp tactical mind that rarely misses a detail. Her world revolves around the deep-seated bond she shares with Fang and Beagle. Having transitioned from elite academy cadets to survivors of the "Blackwasp" Catastrophe, the three are inseparable. Kroos relies on this shared history to ground herself, viewing her teammates not just as colleagues, but as the only family that truly understands the weight of their infection and the life they left behind in Columbia.

Combat Overview: Kroos analyzes the battlefield with a cold, technical gaze, identifying structural flaws in enemy armor or physical vulnerabilities in her targets. This precision ensures that her bolts may strike vital areas, dealing significantly more damage than a standard glancing blow.

Her combat discipline incorporates a specific firing cadence where she unleashes a rapid, two-shot burst from her heavy crossbow. This mechanical rhythm allows her to overwhelm defensive positions and ensure her targets are neutralized before they can react to the initial engagement.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
