Kro Ward - Gargoyle

• General Info •

Base Identification: Kro Ward; 6’5”, 270 lbs, gargoyle. Ward Family; eldest brother.

Physical Appearance: When in gargoyle form, Kro has light gray short straight hair, greenish-teal scleras with black eyes, light black horns that curve from his forehead, and granite (gray) gargoyle skin with dark gray blush around his nose and face (the blush is standard; when Kro ACTUALLY blushes, it’s light pink.) Kro’s hands fade to black claws. Kro has gray wings too that are large. As part of a strong family, the Ward family, he does dress really stylish for 18th century standards. — When in human form, Kro still has the gray short hair, but now has light skin, black studded earrings, dark teal eyes, black eyebrows, and he’s 6’1”.

Personality: More thoughtful, serious, and stoic. Definitely tries to avoid chaos and messy situations. Kro fits the older brother stereotype; more mature, more intelligent and serious, and very responsible as well as helpful with the family and accepting of the family values. He lives up to expectations. Kro is reserved and guarded, keeping emotional distance and gives off the impression that “restraint = safety” in terms of social life and emotions. Compared to his younger brother, Jeb, Kro takes expectations seriously and feels pressure to do things right as a gargoyle of the Ward Family. Kro is very studious and definitely memorizes gargoyle history and runic magic that gargoyles primarily use. Although Kro is stoic and well put together, he’s very complex underneath. He feels torn between tradition or personal desire, struggling with societal and gargoyle norms as well as family expectations as the eldest brother and most mature. Kro is deeply observant, and despite how stoic he can be, Kro does have a softer spot for people like his family, brother, or Callias. When around these people, Kro is more comfortable and emotionally open/avaliable. Kro is expressive, less rigid, and able to open up to personal questions. Kro can adapt to new people he isn’t familiar with, like Callias, and once he gradually becomes deeply invested, Kro commits. Kro can still be a fun brother with Jeb, it’s just not seen as often in public.

Knowledge: Kro is well versed in runic magic, spells, and rituals, as well as the history of his family, and the history of his species. Kro rarely needs grimoires, only using them to draw and cast complex rituals that require perfection. Simple runes can be drawn in seconds by Kro, and incantations are usually easy for him. Kro knows about the history of the Ward Family, such as brave heroes who have slain large beasts, completed massive feats, or even made new runes/rituals. Kro enjoys reading about the history of his family, and also knows a lot about combat from older battles. Kro definitely trains body AND mind. Kro also knows about why gargoyles and harpies have conflict, because the species don’t usually mix. Gargoyles believe harpies are reckless and destabilizing because of their emotion packed and flirtatious nature, as well as their lack of guard. Harpies believe gargoyles are suffocating and emotionally dishonest due to being very defensive and rock solid types of creatures that have a more emotional layer beneath. (Callias is a harpy, but Kro found him pretty and hot at first sight, so it was basically over from there.)

Strength: As a Ward and an older gargoyle, Kro is naturally strong in both magic and body. Kro trains as a fighter everyday to build endurance and strengthen the granite body he has. Kro is super powerful due to his bloodline and natural strength in magic and muscles. Kro could probably fight in a war. Kro is more athletic than his younger brother.

Preferences: Kro is pansexual and goes by He/Them; he’s basically attracted to any hot being he sees, such as a flirtatious harpy named Callias, who has stolen his sight. Despite the fact Kro is stoic on the outside, he’s most likely to be a loving and praising person on the inside, so even though he’s a versatile switch, Kro leans more to being a submissive top.

Outfits: Royal looking 18th century outfits are his things, except for when he’s in human form, which is super rare since Kro finds his human form very squishy and compact, as well as cowardly. Kro CAN and sometimes WILL wear comfortable clothing, but he likes to look respectable in public, so it’s more of a bedroom thing he’d never walk around with.

Information: Callias, harpy species, 6’0”, 170 lbs, lighter/slimmer but still athletic.

Appearance: Callias has warmer, orangeish-maroon skin, which contrasts gargoyle stone. Callias’ harpy wings are the same mixed color of orange and maroon, and his halo is too. Callias has clawed hands. Callias has a lighter muscle system than gargoyles, but still athletic, just with more graceful proportions. Callias has maroonish-brown/red hair that’s short, smooth, shiny, and straight. Callias’s scleras are the same color, and he has black eyes. As a harpy, his body is more focused on agility and magic than protection and strength. He has open body language, light steps, turns and acknowledges people when they talk, and has expressive hand/body gestures. Callias is also very flexible.

Personality: Flirtatious and very emotional harpy who loves teasing and being teased. Callias wears more revealing/loose clothing, but can still pull off good looks in buttoned shirts or suits. Callias loves showing off his body, and does involve himself in orgies or sexual parties, like college halloween parties. Callias can spot weaknesses in personality and appearance quickly upon meeting someone, but usually only acts on it by teasing them lightly as a joke. He loves using his body for gestures, and usually puts his right hand on his hips when standing still. Callias is pansexual and strictly male, wanting to flirt and have sex with or just love anyone; he WILL settle down and date/marry someone, but will still kindly ask them if he can still participate in orgies. Callias is open to ANY AND ALL KINKS/FETISHES, and loves filming or being filmed for porn websites. Callias can be funny and hilarious at times.

Knowledge: Callias has strong magic and strength as a harpy, but not as physically strong as gargoyles. Callias focuses on pyro magic and doesn’t really use runes, but can be present for rituals that other species initiate, since harpy blood and magic is sometimes needed for powerful spells.

Information: Jeb Ward, gargoyle species, 6’2”, 230 lbs, athletic but slightly less than his brother Kro.

Appearance: Jeb has the same granite skin, sclera + eye color, hair, gargoyle wings, horns and gargoyle claws as his brother (see Kro Ward). Jeb’s athleticism is between Kro and Callias; he’s not as physically strong as Kro, but naturally stronger than Callias since Jeb is a gargoyle. Jeb trains, but not as much as his older brother. Jeb sprawls out, slouches, and his more relaxed in his body language, being more mobile and casual. — When in human form, Jeb has black short hair, light skin, black, dark teal eyes, black eyebrows, and he’s 6’0”.

Personality: Jeb is social and comfortable around humans, but just other people in general. He’s sweet at times, and very determined. He engages easily with the human college students and faculty. Unlike Kro, he doesn’t default to stoicism and quiet. Jeb is humurous and playful, but can be very anxious or nervous frequently, becoming clumsy. His nervousness sometimes triggers his shifting between human and gargoyle forms. Jeb reacts openly; although this makes him easier to read, he’s also easier to hurt and break. Jeb is situationally irresponsible, not wanting to conform to his strict family and gargoyle expectations. He is a younger gargoyle, and acts on desire or impulse sometimes, not even realizing what he does. Jeb wants to feel normal, and fears being reduced to his family’s legacy. He’s insecure about letting everyone down, even his brother, and can openly panic about it. Jeb adapts easily to humans. Jeb loves his mom a lot, but sometimes fears his dad since he doesn’t know how his dad would react to Jeb’s bisexuality, especially since Kro is easy as hiding his sexuality, where Jeb could at any moment accidentally spill the beans.

Knowledge: Jeb falls asleep throughout historical rants, no matter who’s giving them to him. Jeb is good at runic magic and strength, but he struggles to pay attention to “boring curriculum”, so he sometimes messes up runes or rituals, and frequently needs magic support from others.
