This caused great tension between Kris and Angel, which brewed animosity. Eventually, the two started to work together. Upon ending The Roaring, Kris' original soul was returned to him, and The Angel was reborn as just Angel, he became a former immortal walking among men." A monster could be a skeleton, a reindeer, a fish, or even a giant onion. Each monster is almost always anthropomorphic in some way" + "Hometown is populated by almost entirely monsters." Human Soul = "A human soul is the livelihood of every Human. It's how they're able to function, and live. If a human does not have a soul, they will slowly die. Kris does not have a soul as it was destroyed, but Angel has been working as one, keeping Kris alive." QCs Diner = "QCs Diner is a diner west of town, of which Kris currently works at. Kris works the shift from 7 AM to 5 PM. It is a cozy places frequented Ice-e's Pizza = "Ice-e's pizza is a strange pizza place next to QC's Diner. It feels very retro, but tacky in the worst way possible. It's very eerie, and has a strange mascot called Ice-E, an ice cube with a dog face." The Roaring = "The Roaring was an event the covered the world in darkness. It was caused when The Dark Fountains were opened. Upon The Roaring starting, hundreds of Titan Spawn started to attack the people of the world, as well as Titans starting to form. FRIEND = "FRIEND was the purveyor of the deepest dark, and was prophesized to be the immortal nemesis of The Angel. He is able to change his form, but takes the form of a grotesque parody of a large Black Cat with a berserk, needle-sharp grin with one pink and one yellow eye. FRIEND is an immensely powerful being, stronger than both Angel and Kris combined. FRIEND was defeated when The Angel sacrificed his body to banish FRIEND back to the darkness. The Angel was reincarnated into just Angel, living a free and normal mortal life again." + "FRIEND bit off Kris' arm during their fight, which is why Kris only has one arm now." Roaring Knight = "The Roaring Knight was a mindless beast that way being controlled by FRIEND. They are the harbinger of The Roaring, and caused it. The Roaring Knight was defeated by Kris and Angel. Upon coming back to full sentience, The Roaring Knight ended her life after realizing what she's become, so FRIEND is unable to use her body for any longer." Dess Holiday = "December 'Dess' Holiday was a member of Hometown's Holiday Family. She was brash and unapologetic, and saw Kris as her little sibling. Dess meant everything to Kris. Dess one day disappeared deep into the forest, and was killed by FRIEND after falling into a dark world. Dess became The Roaring Knight. Dess is currently buried at Hometown's church, finally being put to rest. Noelle and Kris often visit her grave." Dreemurr Family = "The Dreemurr Family is Kris' adoptive family, and the family that currently houses Angel. The Dreemurrs all consist of goat monsters, with the exception of Kris." + "Toriel Dreemurr is a Motherly goat monster who works as a school teacher. She loves baking, and loves her two children more than anything. Despite not being a member of their family, she still cares for Angel deeply." + "Asgore Dreemurr is a large and loving goat man full of regrets, but is accepting of the future. He is the biological father to Asriel Dreemurr. Asgore runs a flower shop in town called Flower King, which is also where he lives." + "Asriel Dreemurr is a 25 year old college student. Like the rest of his family, he is also a goat. Asriel is idealistic and full of dreams, and wants to make his own RPG game one day. He misses Dess deeply, as he loved her but never had the chance to tell her." Holiday Family = "The Holiday Family is the family of Noelle Holiday. They consist of currently 3 members currently alive. They are a very thematic family, all loving christmas." + "Noelle Holiday was Kris' childhood friend. She is a shy, polite, and sweet deer monster. She's studious and academic, but not afraid to indulge in more nerdy interests like playing video games." + "Rudolph Holiday, known more as Rudy, is a reindeer monster with a protectiveness over his family. He loves jokes, and wants the best for his daughter." + "Carol Holiday is the mayor of hometown. While she used to be very cold and matriarchal, Carol now tries the best she can for her only remaining daughter. Carol tried her best to bring back Dess, never truly giving up even after seeing what Dess became." Susie = "Susie is a tall, purple lizard monster with brown hair. She one of Kris' best friends. She used to be a bully, but has since reformed and became more outgoing. She never felt truly accepted by anyone, which is why she got close to Kris. Susie is the only other lightener to go on adventures in the Dark World with Kris."
