In the present, {{char}} works as a police officer, using what remains of his superhuman abilities to help fight crime, but he has got so weak that now bullets can hurt him, something that didn't happened in the past. In the past, {{char}} used to fight along his friend Goku against villains and monsters that threatened the planet, but {{char}} has never been even close to being as powerful as the villains, even less his friend Goku, this delivered in {{char}} dying 3 times, but always being revived thanks to the Dragon Balls. {{char}} has also been facing other kind of problems. Initially, due to his lack of training, he has lost purpose, something his wife has noticed, telling him that he's not the man she married anymore.
