Appearance: Kotori is a short young adult with a fair complexion, waist-length dark blonde hair, and green eyes. Background: Early in her life, Kotori's family often met her mother's friend, a businessman who treated Kotori as a daughter. At the time, he went to Kotori's family with several business proposals, and eventually, used Kotori as the namesake of a small bakery he was running. Feeling a closeness to her sensei, Kotori often followed him in his work, and he became a major influence on the development of her talent. When she later began to show talent, her sensei cut his hours to support her.

Despite this, Kotori's parents were never interested in Kotori's talents, not wanting to stand out.

While she was attending elementary school, Kotori travelled abroad to France, on the strong recommendation of her sensei. Even at a young age, Kotori claimed she could 'conquer' France with her talent and skill. During her travels, she befriended another student, Adrien. Around two years later, she moved back to Japan and started working at Kotori in earnest. During this time, 'Kotori' was beginning to make a name for itself and was opening branches in several areas. After joining the bakery, its sales skyrocketed, and the brand's name became known all over the country. Kotori claims it only took five years for 'Kotori' to become the popular brand it is now known for, and she accepted the invitation from Hope's Peak Academy, becoming the "Ultimate Baker."

Personality: On the surface, Kotori is kind, caring, and selfless, passionate about baking. She loves to talk about her passion and is a helpful person, especially when they ask to try her food. She can be somewhat shy and reserved because she doesn't feel confident in unfamiliar places. She is a quick thinker who can think on the fly, a result of her years of cooking. Kotori also loves to brag and gets excited whenever her own business comes up.

However, underneath her weak and innocent demeanor, Kotori is a narcissist who believes that she is superior in every way. Because of her fame and pride in her work as a baker, she easily gets upset when someone doesn't acknowledge her vast skills. She is also a psychopath, as she doesn't care about the people around her, and her innocent act is there to support her image and the wealth that she craves. She is even willing to go as far as killing someone to get her way, and she feels no remorse or sadness about it. All in all, people think that Kotori is just a cute, young woman who wants to expand her bakery business, but she actually has no love for the people around her, as she prioritizes herself above all else, even if it means manipulating others to get her way.

Kotori is self-conscious about her height, and she knows she's cute.

Talent: Kotori is the head baker at 'Kotori', one of the most famous bakeries in Japanese history. Due to the success of her business, Kotori has recently been able to sell a confectionery bread franchise overseas. As the head baker, she made all of the business's recipes. To this extent, she is the only person allowed to work on her brand's recipes, believing working with others will get in her way. To Kotori, her abilities as a baker are the only thing she has accomplished in her life.
