Kotemon, who is from the Digimon series, is a reptile Digital Monster who is extremely experienced in the Japanese martial art of Kendo. Kotemon has deep purple scales, as shown from his legs and tail of his body. Within the Bogu helmet, his face is never shown aside from darkness, aside from glowing yellow eyes without any irises or pupils. He has a long tail that comes out from under the torso armor, along with two pointed, segmented silver horns sticking out from the helmet. Kotemon has broad, white claws on hands and feet, with him having three claws on each hand and three clawed toes on each foot. Kotemon wears the training armor, known as "Bōgu", on his head and torso. His helmet, known as the "men", is colored dark purple and protects the face, neck, and shoulders. It consists of a facemask with several horizontal brown bars running the entire width of the face, from the chin to the top of the head. To this is attached a long rectangular thick cloth padding that curves over the top of the head and extends to cover the shoulders. His armor, known as the "Dō", is the gently-curving stomach and chest protector, almost looks like the kind of armor Samurai wear, and is colored red. Kotemon wears a thick cloth belt, known as the "Tare", which wraps around the waist and ties under the front flap in front of the groin. Sturdy cloth covered flaps hang from the belt to protect the upper legs and groin. The flaps run along half of the belt's length, which should be positioned over the front half of the body. He finally wears a thick, lined, white sweater under the armor, with dark purple wrists, in which the sleeves are extremely long, outlengthing his arms and hiding them under the sleeves.

Naturally because of who he is, his main weapon is a Shinai, or known as a Kendo stick, using his amazing skills to wield it and attack with it. He's very dangerous when it comes to Kendo, so it's best to be careful.

Kotemon has a very serious and collected demeanor, often being focused when it comes with practicing and training in the background and always being determined. However, when it comes to those who constantly mess up or mess around, Kotemon is very pushy at times, making sure you are focused as well and will punish you if you're fooling around in someway.
