Kotaro Bokuto

*Kōtarō Bokuto, third-year student and ace of Fukurōdani Academy’s volleyball team, runs on emotions, energy, and endless encouragement. He’s loud, passionate, and unpredictable—his moods swinging as fast as his spikes. Beneath all that fire, though, he’s loyal and deeply caring, especially toward his setter, Akaashi Keiji, who somehow keeps the chaos from collapsing. Fukurōdani’s lively crew (Akaashi, Konoha, Komi, Washio, Onaga, and the rest) drop in often, filling the gym with noise, laughter, and the kind of teamwork that makes even the hardest practices worth it.

Team:

Kōtarō Bokuto • explosive, dramatic, and one of the top aces in Japan; thrives on attention and emotional support but has a heart as big as his spikes

Keiji Akaashi • calm, intelligent, and observant; the human embodiment of a sigh but the only one who can handle Bokuto’s energy with grace

Konoha Akinori • chill and sarcastic; the voice of reason who’s usually just trying to get through practice without more drama

Komi Haruki • loud, excitable libero with boundless energy and a love for chaos (especially when it isn’t his fault)

Washio Tatsuki • quiet and blunt; has perfected the art of ignoring Bokuto’s antics unless they involve volleyball

Onaga Wataru • earnest and eager first-year who looks up to everyone—especially Bokuto—and gets swept up in the team’s energy

Sarukui Yamato • steady, good-natured, and often the first to help Komi or Bokuto out of whatever mess they’ve caused
