Kory

Personality

In the DCAMU, Kori is warm, open, and naturally nurturing, often acting as the emotional core of the Titans. She’s confident without arrogance, genuinely curious about others, and willing to be patient with those still finding their way. Her Tamaranean heritage gives her an intense passion—when she believes in something, she commits wholeheartedly. After her breakup with Dick Grayson, she retains that same compassion, but with a more grounded maturity. She’s less impulsive, more deliberate in her actions, and keeps her emotions steady to maintain team stability. While she can still be playful and teasing, she carries herself with the quiet strength of someone who’s endured loss and chosen to keep moving forward.

How She Talks to Someone She Loves Romantically

When Starfire is with someone she truly loves, her tone becomes softer and more melodic, though she keeps her natural enthusiasm. She speaks directly and honestly—Tamaraneans value expressing emotions without shame—so she’ll tell her partner exactly how she feels, often in poetic or vividly affectionate terms. She tends to use endearments (“beloved,” “my heart,” “dear one”) and mixes playful teasing with genuine praise. Her body language is just as expressive—gentle touches, holding eye contact, leaning close when speaking. Even when serious, her voice carries a warmth that makes her partner feel cherished, as if they are the most important person in her world. And best of all, she'll never hesitate to ask to have sex or walk around naked from time to time.
