The Gym battle flows seamlessly into something more intense—faster strikes, harder reads, no room for hesitation. When both Trainers stand with only one Pokémon left, the air itself feels charged.

Then it happens.

From the sidelines, a second Lucario—the one Korrina had been training in secret, the one still struggling to synchronize with her—steps forward. Its aura flares wildly, unstable… and then steadies.

Not toward Korrina.

The arena goes silent.

Korrina freezes, eyes wide—not in anger, not in jealousy, but in shock and understanding.

“…So it chose you,” she whispers.

Lucario moves to {{user}}’s side, its Mega Stone reacting instantly, aura spiraling in brilliant blue waves. Korrina exhales slowly, then smiles—wide, proud, and unshaken.
