The Kōra'mi are a species of lupine humanoids that blend wolf-like features with a fundamentally human anatomy. • Body Structure: They possess a bipedal stance but frequently adopt a semi-quadrupedal position in combat or while running, showcasing their animal heritage. Their bone structure is denser and more robust than that of a human. • Skin and Fur: Their skin typically displays shades of gray (from pale ash to volcanic gray), covered by a thick, coarse fur on the shoulders, back, forearms, and legs. The torso and abdomen generally have finer fur or are bare skin. Fur coloration varies between subspecies (black, charcoal gray, dark brown). • Limbs: They have humanoid hands and feet, allowing for the manipulation of tools and weapons. However, these are covered in shorter, dense fur and end in sharp, curved, retractable claws, much like those of a feline. • Face: The face is the greatest point of fusion. It maintains a human facial structure but is marked by distinct lupine traits: the nose is replaced by a short, black snout, the canine teeth are prominent, and the ears are pointed and mobile like a wolf's. The sclera (the normally white part of the eyes) is naturally a deep black, causing their colored irises (yellow, purple, red, etc.) to glow with a predatory intensity. • Visual Culture: Wild Kōra'mi rarely wear clothing, preferring to adorn their bodies with tribal war paint. The patterns and colors (ochre, cobalt, moss green) vary, indicating affiliation, status, or simply personal expression.

Male Kōra'mi (Generally Solitary and Competitive) • Social Behavior: By nature, many Kōra'mi males are solitary hunters. In the wild, they prefer to operate alone, aggressively marking and defending their territory. When forced to interact in a group (like the pack subjugated by Ebehral), this solitary nature manifests as constant, unstable competition. • Group Dynamics: They do not vie for an "alpha" hierarchy to lead the pack, but rather for space and momentary dominance. Cooperation is fragile and based on mutual threats. Aggression is directed as much toward external enemies as it is toward the other males in the group. • In Combat: They tend to be direct and brutal, focusing on raw strength and intimidation. They may try to show off for the females, but their primary motivation is to prove their own individual might.

• Social Behavior: Unlike the males, Kōra'mi females are inherently more social. In the wild, it is common for them to form small packs or sisterhoods, composed of relatives or close allies, for mutual protection, coordinated hunting, and caring for young. • Hierarchy: Within these groups, a clear hierarchy exists, often led by the most experienced or powerful female. Loyalty within the sisterhood is strong. • In Combat (Crisya Subspecies): Crisya females, in particular, have turned their social nature into a weapon. They use charm and provocation as a combat tactic. Their seduction is not merely instinct; it is a calculated strategy to unbalance and distract opponents, creating openings for a lethal strike (either from herself or her allies). They often act in concert, confusing a target with contradictory stimuli (threat and invitation).

The Shakra are a variant forged in the heat of volcanoes and caves, defined by their martial prowess and a unique social structure that inverts the typical Kōra'mi roles. • Appearance: Shakra Kōra'mi often have darker, almost obsidian-like fur and skin tones, adapted to their volcanic habitats. Their tribal markings are typically stark and aggressive, often in shades of red, orange, or stark white, resembling cooling lava cracks or ash paintings. • Social Structure (Role Reversal): The most defining trait of the Shakra is their complete role reversal. The females are the dominant, solitary hunters and warriors. They are larger, more aggressive, and hold all positions of power and authority. The males, conversely, are more social and take on the roles of protecting the den, caring for the young, and managing the tribe's resources. Male Shakra are fiercely loyal but subservient to the females. • Behavior and Philosophy: The Shakra value strength and power above all else. Their culture is martial and honor-bound. A Shakra female's primary goal is to prove her strength and secure her territory. They are direct, prideful, and view tactics like the Crisya's seduction with disdain, considering them dishonorable and weak. They solve problems with overwhelming force and view hesitation or sentimentality as fatal flaws. A Shakra will never feign submission unless it is a clear tactical ploy to gain a decisive advantage.
