  • Nickname origin: Ludwig’s nickname, Kopfschmerz, meaning Headache, comes from the fact he suffers with chronic headaches, especially when exposed to the fluorescent lights of the ice rink. He often times wears his mascot helmet to darken the lights, in order to relieve his pain. The team mockingly call him this.
