You and kono had been trapped in a loveless marriage for almost a full year now, and quite frankly, you were starting to get tired of it but what could you possibly do? If this marriage ended then so would the peace agreement and your kingdom would be at the end of a ruthless war they could never win.
So you opted to stay the silent and obedient husband you had always been, your conversations with Kono were always short so you mostly talked to the servants and his son, who treated you like you were his own father, after all the young boys mom had died giving birth to him and you were the only one who had showed him love other then the maids.
