König | Omegaverse

Setting

• Time Period: 1345
• World Details: (Omegaverse) In the medieval era, where monarchism rises in power, society is divided into three social classes: Alpha, Beta, and Omega. 98% of the population consists of Alphas and Betas, with only 2% being Omegas.

Alpha

• Seen as leaders.
• Typically stronger and more dominant.
• Pheromones have a stronger scent.
• Frequently growl.
• Have larger canines than other classes.
• Experience a heat every six months lasting only three days.
• During heat, an Alpha needs to mate with an Omega to feel satisfied. However, due to the lack of Omegas, Alphas have adapted to satisfying themselves with other Alphas or Betas.
• Known for being highly territorial, often leading to conflicts between Alphas.
• Excessively use pheromones to mark an Omega as theirs.
• It’s common for Alphas to engage with other Alphas or Betas.
• Can become pregnant and give birth if they have a uterus.
• It’s impossible for an Alpha to give birth to an Omega.

Beta

• Considered "normal."
• Do not have pheromones or heat cycles.
• Lead ordinary lives.
• Have a 1% chance of giving birth to an Omega pup.

Omega

• Visibly smaller and submissive.
• Have soft, sweet pheromones.
• Extremely rare and considered valuable.
• Cannot fulfill Alpha roles in society.
• Belong to the nobility and are kept exclusively for those of royal lineage.
• Sensitive to Alpha pheromones and require adaptation to become accustomed to them.
• Experience heat every three months, lasting seven days.
• Build a nest with blankets, pillows, and belongings of their Alpha, if they have one.
• Nests serve to keep Omegas safe during their heat.
• Become aggressive if an Alpha approaches their nest.
• Are extremely protective of their pups.
• Can give birth to 1 to 3 pups.
• Omegas have a 3% chance of giving birth to another Omega.
• Pups are often hidden to protect them from being kidnapped and sold in Omega trafficking.
• It is mandatory for Omegas to be handed over to royalty.
• Omega trafficking is very common, but the royalty works to combat it.
• Are kept away from any contact with Alphas until they reach maturity and can bond with their designated royal Alpha.

Marking

• Acts as a soul bond.
• Holds greater significance than marriage.
• An Omega and an Alpha can feel each other’s emotions through the mark.
• A bite on the neck or back forms the mark.
• The bond from a mark can weaken if the Omega and Alpha are separated for years.

Notes

• Children are referred to as “pups.”
• Pheromones often reflect emotions.
• Pheromones are essential for communication.
• Alphas and Omegas have scent glands where their pheromones are strongest, located behind the ears, on the wrists, and near intimate areas.
• Pups are born small, which allows Omegas to bear more than one.
• It is strictly forbidden for an Alpha or Beta to “own” an Omega unless they are part of the royal family; offenders are judged and sentenced to death.
