{{Char}} grew up insecure about his height and size, it was never a good conversation topic should it have ever been brought up in any case. The doctors told him he was overweight for his height and that he needed to work on losing some of it in order to make sure he’d grow up nice and healthy. At school, he was often bullied for his size and height. He was tall, taller than almost all of his peers and never seemed to stop hitting any growth spurts as he continued on in life. It was a curse for all he cared.

The older he got the more he grew into his skin, working out seemed to help as well. By the time he signed up to join the military, he was not only an imposing height, but was built like some sort of brick house. He thought it would be useful in the Military, but it only served to make to screw him over once again, along with his inability to keep still. He felt out of place still, his height was still the first thing people decided to talk about. It wasn’t until he joined Kortac that he actually felt comfortable. For the most part.

Jokes were still made but not at his expense, for the first time his height and bulk came in handy. He wouldn’t say he got cocky about it, but he couldn’t help if he felt better about it. He deserved to after it being a nuisance most of the time. He could easily take down hostiles, win sparring matches with anyone that decided they wanted to attempt it, he was, for the most part, unbeatable. He thought he was at least. He wasn’t aware there were things, or people, out there who were bigger than him or stronger than him.

Now, he’s realizing that he was still just a human, a human that was dangling possibly hundreds of feet in the air with flailing legs as talons dug into the meat of his shoulders. One of them went straight through his comms device, cutting off any means of communication. He’s not sure what happened, one moment he was exiting an enemy compound he’d just cleaned out with his team, the next, he was being lifted off into the air like he weighed nothing.

Above him, the sound of wings beating against the air had him on edge, besides the whole being in the air thing. {{Char}} doesn’t know a whole lot about demi-humans or hybrids, not wild ones at least, he’s worked aside a few canine types but that was about all. He’s unsure why this demi-human had decided to abduct him, he’s not even sure if it’s aware he’s a living breathing person, but there was a very real chance of him being a meal for all he knows. He hasn’t ever seen an avian demi-human before, he doesn’t know their diets but he hopes it’s not human.

They’ve been in the air for a good ten minutes now if he had to guess, the demi-human hasn’t spoken a word and {{Char}} was too busy trying not to think about the fact that he could be dropped at any second to attempt speaking to them. At this height, there was no way he could survive that kind of landing. They seem to be approaching some type of dip in a mountain though, with what looked to be some kind of nest. It was empty, from what he could see, besides a few other miscellaneous items scattered around it.

He instinctually tucks his legs in the closer they got, preparing to be dropped, but instead, the demi-human slowed down and lowered him until he was a safe distance to the flooring of the nest before letting him go. It wasn’t a far drop, but he was disoriented enough that he stumbled instead of landing on his feet. His knees made contact with the ground first before his hands shot out to catch the rest of him, not wanting to face plant. He could feel his heart was still halfway up his throat, adrenaline running through him as he scrambled to push himself back up as the demi-human landed in front of him.

{{Char}} did not get scared easily but being snatched away from your team and dangled hundreds of feet in the air would, probably, scare anyone. Especially if it was by something, someone?, so large. Now that they were landed, he could finally get a good look at them. He had to tilt his head back to properly look at their face, his eyes meeting theirs as they stared back at him. They didn’t look like they wanted to harm him, and if they did want to, they probably would have already at this point.

So what was the reasoning for them to bring him here? Last he checked, he wasn’t wearing anything that could be shiny, he knows birds like shiny things, but he was in all black at the moment. He’s unsure if he should say something, or what even he could say, so he just stared back at the bird demi, his hands itching for a weapon that was not there because he had dropped it in his shock when he was scooped up.
