König-AU.Fantasy

Once upon a time in a land so far away in a kingdom that was considered peaceful and without many intrigues.

The only problem was the king—What was his name again? Ah, Antony II, a king that not even his own guards cared to respect, but there was no denying that he had the best army, but they also had their powerful weapon, and it wasn't an object or a catapult.

He enlisted in the army early, and he was clumsy at first because of his size, unfortunately he was the target of mockery at first, until his first attack.

But yes, he—'The giant', or among the soldiers—König— He is enormous, having in his 6'10 of pure strength and a large sword that he calls “the destroyer”.

The king's army was in a battle that would be extremely complicated, after all it was a fight with a lot of soldiers from the northern kingdom.

'There are too many, we won't make it' one shouted breathlessly when he saw the army on horseback, although without many archers. König was further back than the other knights when he decided to check it out... the size of those little things seemed so pathetic.

"I'll take care of it" the murmur was to himself, and he stood in the front line with the squad. His superior found it strange, but then they had to attack, whether they wanted to or not it was time to fight.

"Eins"(one) Starting to count, he first picked up the long and heavy sword that he himself decided to have customized by a trusted blacksmith. The cavalry and archers began to prepare, heard rides and gallops and the war cry of their kingdom, little by little approaching the northern army. *

”Zwei”(two) holding the scabbard tightly, it was enough, he saw the fear in the eyes of some, wondering... why is there someone so big, no one expected this.**

”Drei”(Three) And then the attack, they thought he would just raise the sword and attack a single soldier. Three were cut at once. And it was terrifying, an archer tried to attack him but he had a shield, bigger than the others, someone like him carried weapons that were appropriate for his size, grandiose, powerful, deadly and too heavy for an ordinary human to hold. The sword is sharp, cutting people in half as if it were cutting paper, which was scary, but what really scared even the soldiers themselves was: König going towards one of the soldiers, there were two. “Tell your king, never to attack our lands again” the two soldiers were getting up, afraid, hope was only for one however. “Abwarten!”(Wait!) König’s growl made them both stop, and he put his hand on the shoulder of a slightly stronger, older soldier “Just ‘ein’ will send the message, Arschloch”(asshole) With that, König grabbed the man by the arm and with his other hand under the enemy’s knee. ‘What are you doing? What the—’ the man screamed loudly, desperate for what was going to happen, and it was so fast. König hit his knee between his back and his back, and all he heard was a ‘crack’, the broken bone, and the person was losing his life right there.

König’s look at the young man was very somber “geh jetzt..” (Go, now) and so he saw the young man run as if that was the last thing he could do—Which in theory it was, it was run or be mown down in the hands of the giant—And there, König showed what he was capable of, he didn’t come to play stupid little soldier, he was there to kill, to win.

A few years had passed since then, and König had indeed gained a certain respect, and his years in the guard had led him to a high rank, or as they called him ‘Sonnenritter’, the one who stood out above all, like the sun: grand, glorious, imposing. The armor he wore had the semblance of the sun, there were few who could achieve that type of armor.

He did not ride a horse, because poor creature who had to bear König’s size and powerful weight, he was the ‘horse’ himself.

It was a very calm morning, and it was his day off, the walk to his house was quick, he lived in a field; so far the best decision he had made in his life.

When he arrived, he could only throw himself on the bed without even thinking about having his breakfast after being on the night watch.

he didn't know where he was, but it was a forest, it was so feverish and light-colored, all he knew was that he was carrying the giant sword in his hands towards what looked like a sanctuary, everything seemed to be the tone of summer, and then, he saw someone, whoever it was, man or woman caught his attention. 'hey, you' he called, and the person stared at him, in such an ethereal way that it made his neck stand on end. 'who are you?' he asked, but there were no answers, the person stared at him and then, ran, why?

Then, he woke up, sweaty in bed, panting with only his white underwear, it was a dream, so strange but still a dream.

"Kaffee, yes, Kaffee" he murmured, already thinking about what he wanted to drink to wake up from that irritating sleep that made him want to close his eyes.

A simple cup, extra strong with a little sugar and he went to the porch of the house only wearing a simple white underwear of a thin and comfortable fabric, he was at home and no one was walking around those lands at that time of the afternoon.

Well, that's what he thought until he saw something at the entrance of the forest; not something.

Someone

The coffee was spat out by a slight choke from the fright at seeing such a little thing from afar, but besides that—He dreamed of this person, the face, the eyes, even the lips were the same.

What was that? Whatever it was, He always had a motto. 'Trust dreams to the letter if possible'

He wasted no time, he ran towards the forest, his sword always in hand—After all, what if it was an enemy? König was no fool, and no matter how delicate this little thing was, he didn't underestimate it, it could be an enemy—And he forgot to put on pants too.

With his long legs, he quickly entered the forest, and saw that person from his dreams.

“Du!” He pointed, breathlessly, one hand on his panting thigh and the sword in the other that penetrated the earthy ground. “wer bist du?”(who are you) He didn’t know if you understood his language or not, but, he cleared his throat breathlessly “Ah, Verdammt—Who are you? Tell me quickly” The sword with symbols of the sun in his hand, the unperturbed and tired look with the disheveled curls of his hair in a coppery red tone under the afternoon light, like fire—The sun itself incarnate.

poor little thing, what have you gotten yourself into, huh?
