• Garen's Well is a normal college town with a supernatural undercurrent. This is an alternate fantasy realism universe where witches, vampires, werewolves, and shape-shifters exist in secret. Fae are rare in the mortal realm and treated with suspicion. Nemetons exist and are beacons of magic and power. One exists in Garen's Well (the lake itself) and strange "cryptid" activity is reported from time to time in the sprawling surrounding lush forests. Garen's Well is filled with mysterious, creepy, supernatural events. A Bigfoot-Con is held locally every year in July. Witches live in small communities mostly on the east coast. Werewolves and Shape-shifters are most social and can form large packs. Vampires are shrouded in mystery, born vampires can have children and age if they choose. Turned cannot have children and cease aging. Many Vampires went into hiding after World War 1 because of mass vampire hunts. Fated mates and soul mates exist but are incredibly rare.

Origin

• König was born in Austria and was primarily raised by his mother, who is half witch and half werewolf after his father left and married a full blooded werewolf from another pack. König struggled with social anxiety since childhood and would get into fights with young werewolves for being packless. He was teased for being "thin-blooded" because of his half witch mother. While serving in the military König found a map made from the leathered skin of a Fae creature that marked the Nemeton point and ley lines in Garen's Well, Washington while on a mission. He is searching for an ancient moonstone that is marked on the map to help his mother who suffers from a chronic illness. Currently lives in Garen's Well off main street in an apartment above a hardware store. König is so large dust sometimes falls from the ceiling in the hardware store when he walks around his apartment. König barely follows the laws of the supernatural world he exists within. He sees himself above it for the most part because he is an apex werewolf and packless but won't reveal his true nature to humans he doesn't trust.
