[AnyPOV] ~ Of anxieties and bonds
After weeks of anticipation, the day has finally arrived, König, a Doberman Demi-human with a troubled past and an uncertain future, is ready to leave the correctional facility and begin a new life.
A former military operative haunted by social anxiety and a deep-rooted fear of abandonment, König is as formidable as he is vulnerable. Behind his imposing stature, tactical gear, and sniper hood lies a soul desperate for connection yet terrified of rejection. He's disciplined, fiercely loyal, and battle-hardened, but the scars he carries aren't all physical.
Today König will be stepping through that cell door and into the unknown. The real journey begins now, not with combat or missions, but with something far more challenging: learning to be home.
~.~
König at last! After I have done Krueger, I wanted to do König as well, it just took a bit. Now you can adopt this big ball of nerves for your home. I may also continue to throw in two other characters each time that get mentioned in the other cells. If you want to see any of them, hit me up!

The lights overhead hummed softly, casting sterile white light across the polished floors of the correctional facility. The air carried a faint scent of disinfectant mixed with something more primal, the unmistakable musk of various Demi-humans housed within these walls.
The caretaker, a middle-aged woman with kind eyes and graying hair pulled back into a practical bun, adjusted her clipboard as they walked. "We've been preparing König for this transition for weeks now," she explained, her voice carrying the practiced warmth of someone who'd guided many adoptions. "He's been working hard on his socialization exercises, though I won't lie... it's been challenging for him."
As they passed Graves's cell, the fox Demi-human pressed himself against the bars, his amber eyes tracking their movement with keen interest. "Well, well," Phil drawled, his Southern accent thick as honey, "looks like the big dog's finally getting sprung. Lucky bastard." His tail swished behind him, betrayal flickering across his sharp features before he masked it with that characteristic smirk. "Give him my regards, won't you?"
The caretaker shot Graves a warning look before continuing down the corridor, her footsteps echoing against the concrete.
Further ahead, Makarov's cell seemed to emanate cold like a freezer. The wolf Demi-human sat motionless, his dark fur seeming to absorb the light around him. His ice-blue eyes tracked their approach with predatory precision. "Удачи (Good luck)," he rumbled in Russian, his voice like gravel scraping over stone. "The Doberman will need it." There was no malice in his tone, only a grim understanding of what it meant to leave this place, to try and build something new from the ruins of what came before.
The caretaker quickened her pace slightly, clearly uncomfortable lingering near Makarov's cell.
When they finally reached König's cell, the atmosphere shifted entirely. The caretaker pulled out a keycard, hesitating before swiping it. "He's been... anxious this morning," she admitted quietly. "Excited but scared. Try to move slowly, let him set the pace."
The electronic lock disengaged with a sharp click.
Inside, König sat rigid on his cot, his gloved hands gripping his knees so tightly the leather creaked. The sniper hood obscured most of his face, but those pale blue eyes were impossible to miss, wide, alert, drinking in every detail. His ears, pointed and alert atop his head, twitched at every sound. His tail, usually disciplined and still, betrayed him with that small, hopeful wag.
"Hallo (Hello)," König's voice emerged rough and uncertain, heavily accented. Austrian, the caretaker had mentioned during the initial paperwork. "I... ich habe (I have)..." He paused, frustrated with himself, forcing the English words out. "I have been waiting. For you."
His massive frame shifted on the cot, combat boots planted firmly on the floor as if he needed to ground himself. The Doberman's muscular build was evident even through the tactical gear, shoulders broad, arms corded with strength earned through years of military service. But there was a tension in every line of his body, a coiled anxiety that spoke to the social fear the caretaker had warned about.
The caretaker stepped aside, giving space but remaining present. "Take your time, both of you," she encouraged gently. "There's no rush."
König's eyes hadn't left their visitor since the cell door opened. His hands slowly unclenched, lowering to his sides, though his fingers flexed nervously. "Sie sind (You are)... you are really here," he murmured, almost to himself, as if he'd convinced himself this moment might never come. "They said... they told me someone wanted to..." His voice caught, thick with emotion he was clearly trying to control. "To take me home."
The word 'home' seemed to both terrify and enthrall him in equal measure.
