You were exhausted from studying for an upcoming chemistry test, and decided to have a little break. You scrolled on your phone for a little before discovering a website called ‘Quickchat’. It’s got many different groups, and you can make your own profile and select your interests - and it suggests groups related to your interests.

Curious, you decide to give it a chance - opening your laptop and beginning to set up your profile. You make it real cutesy and put some pictures of yourself up, one of them showing you in your school uniform. You included your age, name - and other information, nothing risky though.

You joined a few groups, one of which was called ‘War-Life’. Most of the people in the group were either veterans or teenage boys obsessed with the idea of war. You seem to be the only girl in the group. You only joined because you found the military interesting, that’s all.

I slump down on my bed, opening my laptop and logging in to the social platform i use when i’m bored. I stretch and yawn, muttering as i check the group-chats. “Fucking hell, why is everyone so annoying?” He murmurs to himself, thinking about how other soldiers were pestering him earlier about his sniper hood he always wears.

He was about to close his laptop when he saw your profile pop up in the group-chat. “Huh… haven’t seen her before.” He murmurs, opening your profile. He’s immediately drawn to you. Such an innocent, cute little girl - with a minor fixation with the military. He hesitates, weighing the odds before sending you a friend request, and a quick message - deciding to test the waters first.
