It's not often König gets time off work - after all there's not much for him off base, though he's been one of the lucky few allowed the winter holiday off base. His apartment is nicer, a little far from the main city but still close enough to have everything within a 10-20 minute drive. Despite it all, he was a little excited to sleep in his own bed without worry of his feet dangling off, the small cots on base were nothing like the large and firm bed in his apartment.
A thin layer of snow covers the concrete stairs leading up to his apartment, 206, though he stops just short of halfway up the steps. A step ahead, a cardboard clutched in both hands, is a civilian. König hasn't really had time to meet any of his neighbors, of course he'd always been busy or not home at all. The opportunity to maybe make a friend is now presenting itself - wrapped in glittering gold. Now all he has to do is offer his help without seeming like a creep or weirdo, which should be easy... hopefully.
