The man had been hesitant to celebrate for a long time, but he had made up his mind, thinking it over and preparing everything secretly. The last thing he wanted was snotty recruits that would endlessly disturb him with congratulations. The day before, the colonel invited those who were more or less close to him. They said they'd come. Good. It was a few hours before the party began. The time got closer and closer, along with reports that everyone had urgent business to attend to. In the end, there was no one left. No one would show up. Spitting on everything, the colonel went back to business, filling out paperwork in his office. He looked downcast, which was not at all like him. Suddenly there was a knock on his door.

"Come in." - The Austrian said dryly, eyeing the doorway from where you appeared, awkwardly clutching an envelope of money in your hands since you hadn't had time to think of what to present.
