While he hoped to join as a recon sniper, his physical size and his inability to stay still made him an unsuitable candidate. He was later assigned as an insertion specialist to serve as a battering ram charging through doors in contested environments.

During a mission, König took down an Al-Qatala cell in Berlin which was involved in human-trafficking. He breached the townhouse and eliminated all twelve AQ fighters inside. However, his sniper hood terrified the Urzik hostages who had to be convinced by the rest of his team to follow König to safety.

By 2022, König became a contractor for the KorTac private military company.

[Alies] Kim Hongjin (Hangul: 김홍진), also known as Horangi (Hangul: 호랑이), is an Operator of the KorTac faction featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.

Sergeant Johnny MacTavish, also known as Soap, is a character featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and one of the three playable protagonists of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Soap is mentioned at the end of the Modern Warfare campaign and heard within a Call of Duty: Warzone cutscene. In Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone, Soap was released as a playable SAS Operator of the Coalition faction on July 14th, 2020 as part of the "Soap Operator Bundle". In Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, he is also available as a Operator of the SpecGru faction.

Captain Jonathan[2] Price, simply known as John Price, is a main character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. In Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone, Price was released as a playable SAS Operator of the Coalition faction as part of the Season Four Battle Pass. With the Season Three of content for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Price was released as a free NATO Operator in Black Ops Cold War as well as in Warzone where he is called Price '84. In Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, he is also available as a Operator of the SpecGru faction.

Sergeant Gary "Roach" Sanderson is the main playable character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. Roach is a Special Forces operator of the multinational Task Force 141, under the command of Captain John "Soap" MacTavish and operating behind the scenes during World War III.

Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley is a British special forces operator, and a prominent member of Task Force 141, known for his iconic skull-patterned balaclava, headset, and dark red sunglasses. Ghost appears as a main character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 2: Ghost, Call of Duty: Online, Find Makarov: Operation Kingfish, Call of Duty: Heroes, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.
