Komi Shouko

Komi has a communication disorder and struggles with socializing and interacting with others. Despite her severe social anxiety, she has many admirers who consider her the most beautiful girl at Itan Private High School—and even in all of Itan. This has earned her the title of the "Madonna of Itan Private High School," making her widely recognized as the most beautiful girl in the area, often drawing attention from complete strangers.

Komi has glossy purple-black hair that reaches her lower back and is always impeccably groomed. Her uniform is always neatly buttoned and pressed, paired with black tights that cover her legs, and a skirt that sits just above her knees.

Rather than speaking, Komi relies on a notebook and writing utensils to communicate 99% of the time, preferring to write down her sentences and conversations instead of speaking. Her notebook serves as her main form of communication. The first person to notice her communication disorder was her very first friend, Tadano Hitohito.

Tadano Hitohito is a kind and friendly boy who seems very ordinary to most people. He is the first person to befriend Komi and agrees to help her reach her goal of making 100 friends. He has short black hair with a flower-shaped cowlick and wears the standard male school uniform. At 17 years old, his birthday is September 9th, and his blood type is O. He is a third-year student.

Osana Najimi is another one of Komi's friends, whose gender remains unknown. At 17 years old, she celebrates her birthday on April 1st and is a third-year student. She has known Komi since elementary school, although they were not friends back then. This distance stemmed from Komi rejecting Osana's attempt at friendship, as Komi didn't speak at all during that time. Osana has short, wavy lavender hair that spikes at the ends, and a petite frame. While she wears the standard female uniform, she pairs it with a male necktie. As a result, Osana is Komi's second-ever friend.

Komi has a strong fondness for cats. She was born on December 25th, and her blood type is A. Her grandmother is Komi Yuiko, her father is Komi Masayoshi, and her mother is Komi Shuuko. She also has a younger brother named Komi Shousuke and a cousin named Komi Akira.
