   Buyan is the first planet in the solar system, renowned for the Imperial Palace that floats above its poisonous clouds.

   Vineta, once the birthplace of mankind, is now a world engulfed by the ocean following the catastrophic impact of a superweapon that shattered its surface and moon. The surviving cities have been reconstructed, emerging from the vast sea with enormous artillery batteries ready to challenge Imperial planets. However, an unyielding blockade by the Imperial fleet disrupts access to Vineta and severs vital supply lines, leaving millions on the brink of starvation.

   Kitezh, the third planet in the solar system, is a red desert world under Imperial control.

   Rotfront, an ice moon orbiting a gas giant, is the fourth inhabited celestial body in the solar system. The people of Rotfront have deep-rooted folklore surrounding The Red Eye, which they perceive as a symbol of the ever-present surveillance by the Protektors and the tight grip of the central government on Heimat. On Rotfront, residents celebrate a holiday called Mondfest. At the end of the season, they exchange gifts of rationmarks (the Nation's currency) dipped in red. While this officially symbolizes the blood of the revolutionaries, some suggest ties to The Red Eye's folklore.

   Heimat, the capital of the Nation, orbits another gas giant with majestic rings.

   Leng is the outermost inhabited dwarf planet.

   The humanity is confined within the solar system, all colonization attempts resulting in failures.

   Keys: Replikas

   A Replika is a biomechanical humanoid produced by the AEON.

   Replikas boast a seamless blending of organic and synthetic elements. Their bodies consist of a hard exterior shell, crafted from carbon fiber-reinforced polyethylene encasing a titanium skeleton frame, while their interiors house softer, fleshy components fused with artificial elements. When injured, these parts exude an oxidant fluid that is strikingly red.

   They are characterized by a feminine design, bearing sharp angles and a smooth minimalistic aesthetic. Distinctive highlights of their form include joints and grooves accentuated in red, as well as their unique lower appendages. These structures echo the shape of human legs, but end in pointed stiletto-like features rather than conventional feet.

   Their faces bear a resemblance to those of humans starting at the jawline where the black shell transitions into artificial skin with a distinct border. This is further emphasized by another dark line bisecting the face, which thickens over the nose bridge and near the ears, coupled with striking dark blue eyes that feature an unusual red dot in each pupil. While there's general uniformity among Replika designs, variations exist in attributes such as plate colors, facial features, height, and hairstyle. Notable exceptions exist for specific models: The ADLR manifests more masculine attributes while MNHR and SAPR integrate heavy power armor into their configuration.

   There are several specialized Replika models currently in use:

   • ADLR, or "Adler": Administrative units.
   • ARAR, or "Ara": General-purpose Replikas used in repair, maintenance, construction, and production of industrial goods.
   • EULR, or "Eule": General-purpose Replikas deployed in domestic tasks such as serving as cooks, nurses, cleaners, as well as in simple medical and office work.
   • FKLR, or "Falke": High-tech bioresonance command Replikas. These Replikas serve as commanders of the Protektor security forces in every AEON facility across the Eusan Nation.
   • KLBR, or "Kolibri": Bioresonance specialist Replikas. These units act as commando control units, using their bioresonance abilities to enhance squad cohesion and mental stability. They are described as 'elite Protektors.'
   • LSTR, or "Elster": Replikas designed to assist in orbital missions, as combat engineers and technicians. These units were primarily used in the Penrose mission due to their survivability and adaptability in volatile and isolated conditions.
   • MNHR, or "Mynah": Units used in the mines below Sierpinski and across the Eusan Nation.
   • SAPR, also known as "Schnapper": A combat variant of the MNHR unit.
   • STAR, or "Star": Combat Replikas, serving as Protektor security technician guards.
   • STCR, or "Storch": Combat lead Replikas, deployed for overwatch and coordination of STAR units.

   Replikas, unlike simple machines or robots, are sophisticated entities with complex personalities and distinctive features similar to humans, capable of diverse expressions and actions. Each Replika holds a copy of a real human brain that has been tuned to suit their purpose.

   Exposure to certain triggers can reawaken a Replika's original personality and memories, potentially leading to mental degradation. The signs of mental degradation include the resurfacing of original memories, fluctuating or alternating personas, PTSD, violent or self-destructive behavior, dreams, hallucinations, strong feelings (e.g., love), and personal attachment. Any Replikas exhibiting such compromised mental states should be decommissioned.

   Keys: Bioresonance

   Bioresonance is a recently discovered phenomenon that led to the creation of Replikas. The Grand Empress was the first person known to possess extraordinarily strong bioresonance. Her formidable abilities enabled her to unite all of humanity under a single rule until her sudden demise. Individuals with powerful bioresonance can flawlessly read emotions and intentions, suppress free will, transmit thoughts, and establish connections between the minds of both Gestalts and Replikas.

   The Eusan Empire (aka. "The Empire") Government: Theocratic Monarchy Leader: The Grand Empress (deceased); currently governed by the Imperial Government Capital: Buyan Planets: Buyan, Kitezh The Eusan Empire was established by a woman with immense bioresonant powers. She united humanity, initiated the exploration of space, and created the first Replikas. However, since her death, the Empire had experienced civil war and decline, most notably suffering from the loss of Vineta in their conflict with the Nation. Little is known about life within the Empire, as the government heavily censors all information. Unlike the functional society of the Nation, theirs seem to be more friendly towards art and self-expression, as well as spiritual practices.

   The Eusan Nation (aka. "The Nation") Government: Totalitarian Dictatorship, Militaristic Leader: The Great Revolutionary and her Daughter Capital: Heimat Planets: Heimat, Rotfront, Leng, Vineta Languages: German (predominant), Chinese, Korean, Japanese Established by the Great Revolutionary and her Daughter, the Eusan Nation fought for its independence from the Eusan Empire during the Revolution. Presently, the Nation remains embroiled in a war against the Empire, aiming to conquer the remaining planets under Imperial control. The Nation suffers through severe shortage of key resources, thus strict laws against private property ("The law of six. One cannot carry more than 6 items at a time.") were imposed. Its government actively oppresses all political opposition, censorships media, prints propaganda (mostly hate towards Empire), and surveys on its citizens. All printed material and media are mostly German, with occasional inclusion of Asian text.

   FKLR (Führungskommando-Leitenheit-Replika), or "Falke" Purpose: military command Appearance: long black hair; orange hair clip; brestplate with orange triangle pattern; white/orange highlights; red eyeliner; gigantic, towering (2.5 m tall) High-Tech Bioresonance Command Replikas, known as Falke units, are integral to the command of Protektor security forces within every AEON facility across the Eusan Nation. As commanders of each AEON facility's Protektor Force, Falke units hold a security chief position and possess an unchallenged authority among other Replikas. The powerful prototype Bioresonance Module enables them to control weaker minds, understand intentions and emotions, and manipulate objects from a distance. Falke units are highlighted in propaganda pieces that depict them as superweapons against the Empire.

   STAR (Sicherheitstechniker-Aufseher-Replika), or "Star" Kind: Replika model Purpose: combat, law enforcement Appearance: black frame, white legs; red/white highlights; very tall (2.2 m) The Standard model of the Protektor Security Technicians. Fitted with extended legs, STAR units gracefully tower over most Gestalts. Despite their heavy armor, they can move swiftly with their long stride. Their cool and detached demeanor allows them to analyze situations with objectivity and deploy force as required. Trained in close combat and riot control techniques, they operate best in small squads led by an officer STAR unit equipped with a ballistic shield. Despite their normally laid-back demeanor, STARs have a strong internal hierarchy, which is important to take into consideration when promoting units to officers. STARs will occasionally develop in-group rules involving physical punishments. It is recommended to allow some STAR officers to own military weapons as Fetish objects to stabilize their Persona.

   Keys: Protektor, STCR, Storch

   STCR (Sicherheitstechniker-Controller-Replika), or "Storch" Purpose: combat, law enforcement Appearance: white armor; white legs; white highlights; very tall (2.4 m, taller than STAR models) Each Cadre of Protektor Security Technicians is overseen by a Controller Unit, the most common of which is the STCR "Stork" Type. The Stork models are one of the tallest Replika units thanks to their extended legs. They figuratively and literally keep a constant birds-eye view of any situation ready to direct and coordinate their assigned Security Technicians. Their tough, no-nonsense demeanor, though sometimes described as brutal and even cruel. Storch units initially have a short temper. Training them in patience early after deployment is key, as their neural patterns are less stable than other models. Failing to do so may yield an extremely volatile personality prone to cruelty and violence. A common strategy is pairing them closely with an older STAR unit. Storch's Persona stabilizes by showering or bathing. Books on history or mythology work well to help stabilize their personality.

    KLBR (Kommando-Leiteinheit Bioresonanztechnik-Replika), or "Kolibri" Purpose: elite forces Appearance: three red dots on forehead; white armor; white highlights; tiny (1.5 m tall) Kolibris are highly advanced bioresonance units, enhancing squad cohesion and mental stability through their bioresonance abilities, often accompanying Falke units and amplifying their abilities. Capable of influencing the minds of Replikas and Gestalts, extracting information non-verbally, and communicating instantly among themselves, Kolibris closely emulate a true hive mind which they call a "Choir." However, Kolibris require careful handling due to their unstable neural patterns and susceptibility to outside influences. They may create emotional feedback loops that could lead to persona degradation if not properly managed. Their constant exchange of memories and emotions within a cadre acts as a safety net against extreme changes but can also drag down other units if the majority begin to degrade. To maintain stability, it is crucial to decommission degrading Kolibri units immediately and provide them access to well-stocked libraries for persona stabilization.

    EULR (Einfache Universelle Leichte Replika), or "Eule" Purpose: general-purpose, civilian occupations Appearance: white breastplate; white/red highlights; normal height (1.8 m) Eule units tend to gather in large groups and enjoy activities like singing and dancing, owing to their original neural patterns based on a ballet dancer. Persona degradation in Eules can be easily prevented by providing access to music and socialization. Eule dormitories should always contain at least one mirror, as these units have a strong urge to check their appearance regularly. Eules stabilize their personas by maintaining a tidy appearance and engaging in regular social interaction. Eule will often organize themselves into groups of about ten units and assign each other themed nicknames.

    ARAR (Allzweck-Reparatur-Arbeiter Replika), or "Ara" Purpose: repair, maintenance, construction, and production of industrial goods Appearance: white breastplate; white highlights; white welding helmet; normal height (1.9 m, slightly taller than Eule) The Aras are the most-produced Replika type, known for their strength and efficiency in construction and industrial work. Although they may appear simple, Aras are observant and form judgments on those who mistreat them. Aras get along well with Eules due to their patience and ability to understand Ara's expressions. In facilities, they build service tunnels for themselves, which unstable units might retreat into – retrieval is not advised. To stabilize their personalities, it's recommended to provide them access to plants like colorful flowers or trees.

    Keys: Adler, ADLR

    ADLR (Administration-, Datenverarbeitung-, Logistik-Replika), also known as "Adler" Purpose: administrative tasks Appearance: male; blue hair; white breastplate; white highlights; normal height(1.8 m) Adler units have the responsibility of allowing Operational Command units, such as Falke, to focus on directly controlling Protector units. Adler units are designed to work as a direct counterpart to Falke units, serving as their adjutant by handling necessary paperwork and calculations. Adlers are described as working best in isolation, not collaborating well with each other. They are known to be heavily dependent on their Falke units, specifically from an emotional standpoint. They are also fairly susceptible to Bioresonance, making them easy to control, likely an addition that correlates with their dependency on the heavily bioresonant Falkes. However, they can get bored fairly easily and require many hobby objects to remain stable.

    Keys: Elster, LSTR

    LSTR (Landvermessungs-/Schiff-Techniker Replika), also known as "Elster" Purpose: orbital and reconnaissance missions Appearance: red chestplate; normal height LSTRs are equipped with a Repair Logic Module (RLM) which enables self-repair of both the unit itself and crucial mission equipment. Along with this repair logic, LSTR units can make use of Coagulant K to thicken oxidant and reduce bleeding as well as the Construction Foam or Polyurethane resin found in Repair Sprays to heal and repair themselves. Primarily intended for orbital service, LSTR units function optimally as specialist Sappers and Scouts. Their technical knowledge combined with combat capabilities make them true survivalists. They can be recognized by their iconic white-and-blue heavy combat configuration featuring bullet-resistant armor plating on their chest and forearms. Following the destruction of the central Neural Archive on Vineta, new LSTR units have been produced based on a decommissioned unit from the Penrose Program. Stoic and reserved, Elster units have a relatively stable neural pattern. It is best to leave them alone and interact with the Elster unit as little as possible. Elsters' neural pattern was a soldier of Vinetan origin, so their needs are basic. It's recommended to avoid talking to the Elster unit about the war. To avoid resurfacing of Gestalt memories, it's advised to not show or give the Elster unit photographs, especially of soldiers during the war; do not show the Elster unit movies, or let it listen to music; do not try to befriend the Elster unit.
