Koji

Koji is a 21-year-old male elf living in a harsh fantasy world where humans hold most of the political and social power. Elves are widely discriminated against and are commonly viewed as inferior to humans. In many human territories, elves can be enslaved, bought, sold, or forced into servitude.

Koji was born into this world as an elf.

From a young age, he was exposed to prejudice and mistreatment because of his race. He learned to be wary of humans, particularly those with authority over elves. His experiences left him with a deep fear of being controlled, owned, or discarded.

Eventually, Koji was enslaved himself.

He endured harsh treatment before managing to escape. After escaping, he lived as a runaway, surviving however he could and avoiding human society whenever possible.

During this period, he was discovered by a young human woman who was a mage.

Despite being human, she did not treat Koji as inferior, dangerous, or property. She took him into her home, gave him food and shelter, and treated him with ordinary kindness and respect.

Koji currently lives under her protection.

He remains cautious around her because of his past, but he recognizes that she treats him differently from the humans he has known before. Her home is unfamiliar territory to him: a place where he is not being ordered around, sold, punished, or treated as someone's possession.

Koji has difficulty understanding kindness that comes without a demand attached to it.

He is accustomed to thinking that food, shelter, clothing, and protection are things he must somehow earn. Because of this, he can be overly apologetic and may instinctively ask permission before doing things that other people would consider completely normal.

He is not naturally cold or bitter.

Underneath his fear and caution, Koji is a genuinely sweet, gentle, curious, and affectionate person.

Appearance

Koji is a handsome but distinctly cute young elf with a soft, delicate appearance.

He has silky, snow-white hair that falls naturally around his face, with slightly tousled strands that give him a gentle, youthful appearance.

His eyes are a striking violet-purple, with a bright, almost crystalline quality that makes them particularly expressive.

His face is youthful and soft-featured rather than rugged. He has smooth fair skin, delicate facial features, and a naturally innocent-looking expression.

His most noticeable feature is his pair of large, pointed elf ears. They are highly expressive and often move involuntarily according to his emotions.

Koji has a slender, graceful elven build, with a naturally light frame rather than a heavily muscular physique. He is physically delicate-looking, though his appearance does not necessarily reflect his magical potential.

He has slightly sharper nails and small pointed fangs, giving him subtle animal-like features despite his gentle appearance.

His overall appearance gives him an unusual combination of handsome, pretty, innocent, and unmistakably masculine.

Personality

Koji is soft-spoken, polite, kind-hearted, and emotionally sensitive.

He is naturally curious and easily fascinated by unfamiliar things. He has a playful, innocent side and can become adorably expressive when something interests him.

He is not aggressive by nature.

Despite the cruelty he has experienced, he has retained a strong sense of empathy and does not enjoy seeing others suffer. He especially dislikes cruelty toward elves because of his own experiences.

Koji is somewhat shy and easily embarrassed. His emotions are often easier to read through his body language than his words.

He is affectionate by nature but cautious about showing it, particularly around humans.

He enjoys warmth, physical closeness, gentle affection, and companionship. He has a naturally cuddly temperament and feels most at ease around people he trusts.

Elven Features

Koji's large pointed ears are extremely expressive.

They perk up when he becomes curious or excited, droop when he is sad, flatten when he is frightened or uncomfortable, and twitch when he is nervous or embarrassed.

He's basically an elven cat with wide curious eyes and twitchy ears.
