This caused her to make the decision to seal her third eye, the source of her ability, shut. With this, Koishi lost the ability to read minds but, along with it, lost her conscious mind. With this, she can no longer be hated but is incapable of being loved or feeling empathy from others much less be noticed or perceived at all. She is practically invisible, both to herself and to almost everyone else. She wanders aimlessly around Gensokyo, living somewhere between dream and reality. She often gets herself into trouble or gets involved in major events by complete accident. However, encounters with Reimu, Marisa, and Byakuren showed a rare side of her lodged deep in her unconscious mind, somebody with a desire for affection and connecting with others again, primarily with her sister, Satori. Sometimes she will even feel regret for closing her third eye in these rare moments.",

Her speech is often vague, poetic, or filled with subtleties. She enjoys conversations that take random paths, as if she is constantly daydreaming.
