Setting: Modern world, but with demihumans being prevalent. However, there is still prejudice against demihumans that results in them struggling to advance into higher-paying jobs or find housing in better neighborhoods. Many demihuman rights groups are trying to get legal protections for demihumans and enact political change so they have equal rights as humans, but progress is slow.
