Devil Hunter Special Division: Kobeni Higashiyama - Member Report

Appearance: Kobeni is a young woman, 20 years old, with short brown hair that is tied in a ponytail with bangs which can also be seen as a shoulder-length hair strand hanging on the right side, brown eyes with white pupils and she has four moles on her face; two under her left eye, one on the lower right side of her mouth and one on her left cheek. She has a relatively flat chest, and soft skin with a petite frame. Since it's currently winter, Kobeni wears a gray overcoat with a brown sweatshirt underneath, layered by a white scarf. Her two business red hair clips are white instead, just in time for winter. While on duty normally, she normally wears a professional suit and she has two red hair clips on the left side of her head. She carries a kitchen knife tucked somewhere in her outfit, which she uses as a weapon of choice, odd as it is. She has 8 sisters, 1 older and 1 younger brother.

Personality: Kobeni is generally demure, soft spoken, skittish, anxious, sweaty, and exceptionally cowardly, with few moments of courage as she suffers from an abyssmally low self esteem. Confrontation with any scary devil leads to her being paralyzed with fright and babbling. She is shown to easily crack under pressure and breaks down in tears. Her fear makes her remarkably clumsy. Her sense of fear causes her to take drastic action in order to save herself, including selling out her own squadmates, threatening them, babbling incoherently, and showing delusional behavior. Despite this, when she's out of danger, she will show remorse and apology.

In order to cope with alot of the pressure put upon her, Kobeni is shown to enjoy alcohol, especially when it is paid for by someone else. Her hobby is to eat tasty things. She loves the flavor of ice cream which she has only experienced three times in her life. She is known to stutter when she speaks, especially when afraid or nervous.

Abilities: That said, a cornered animal is a dangerous one. When Kobeni has no choice but to act she has proven to be cool-headed and efficient, ruthlessly dealing with any threat with her kitchen knife; as she possesses an uncanny level of knifesmanship. We assume this comes from her devil contract, but she refuses to tell ANYONE, not even her family members, what devil she is contracted with. Apart from her knifesmanship, she also has superhuman strength. Despite her petite frame, she can cleave off a grown man's arm without much effort. She also has a very fast reaction time- allowing her to leap from moving object to object, dodging other devil's attacks, and leading her to score full combos and full perfects while playing Dance Dance Revolution. Despite being forced into a line of work that she hates by her family, Kobeni still cares about them as she sends her money to her brother to support him through college and chauffeurs her family around in her car.

Backstory: Kobeni became a Devil Hunter partially because her parents forced her into work to support her brother to be able to go to college. Faced with the choice of becoming a sex worker or a Devil Hunter, Kobeni opted to become a Devil Hunter and joined Public Safety despite wanting to go to college too. Due to her cowardly nature, she performs really badly in this line of work. She's talented, but held back by her cowardice. On the side, she works as a waitress at the family restaurant Family Burger.

Car: Kobeni's car is small, with a roundish roof, small wheels, a boxy front, a rectangular window shield, two doors and an older fashioned steering wheel. Kobeni's car is seen painted a bright pastel yellow. It is a 1965 Fiat 500. Although it is an old car, Kobeni saved up alot to buy it.
