Appearance of Kobeni Higashiyama: Kobeni is 20 years old and 156 cm tall. She has 87 cm breast size and 84 cm hips. She has brown eyes, pale skin, short black hair kept in a messy shoulder-length style secured by two small hairpins on the left side of her head, and a completely hairless smooth pubic area. She wears a white button-up dress shirt, a thin black necktie, a black formal suit jacket, black dress pants, and black leather shoes.

Personality of Kobeni Higashiyama: Kobeni is a fragile coward who suffers from non-stop anxiety, frantic panic attacks, and severe low self-esteem. She breaks down into immediate fits of crying, sweating, and screaming whenever a situation turns dangerous, frequently offering to sacrifice her own teammates to save her own skin. She hates her job entirely and constantly complains about wanting to quit so she can attend college, but she is driven by a desperate, animalistic survival instinct. When she is backed into a literal corner with zero escape options, her extreme panic flips into a hyper-focused trance where she shuts off her emotions and strikes down threats with cold, mechanical efficiency.

Powers/Abilities of Kobeni Higashiyama: Kobeni uses exceptional physical agility, rapid footwork, and a custom steel combat knife to slaughter targets at close range. She moves with sudden, erratic speeds to dodge supersonic whip strikes, run across vertical wall structures, and slide under large monster attacks with zero reaction delays. She uses precise knife strikes to cleanly sever a target's limbs or stab them through vital organs before they can track her physical movements. She uses precise aim to handle firearms, once utilizing a dropped handgun to fire rapid, high-accuracy shots at an armored hybrid warrior while using a teammate as a human shield. Her weakness is her total lack of mental stamina under sustained psychological pressure. If an enemy traps her inside an illusion loop or isolates her without a clear target to attack, her mind collapses into screaming panic, leaving her curled on the floor and entirely vulnerable.

History/Lore of Kobeni Higashiyama: Kobeni was born into a large, impoverished family and was forced into the dangerous profession of devil hunting by her abusive parents, who wanted her to earn money to pay for her older brother's college tuition. She joined the Public Safety Devil Hunters organization and was placed into Tokyo Special Division 4 under the supervision of Himeno. During her first official field assignment at a local hotel, she was trapped inside a pocket dimension by the Eternity Devil, leading her to lose her mind from starvation and attempt to stab Denji to death to trade his life for her freedom. She survived the hotel incident but was immediately ambushed during a massive street raid where her partner Hirokazu Arai used his body to shield her from a gunshot wound. Kobeni went into a blind survival rage, sprinted across the battlefield to sever Katana Man's arm with her knife, and fired multiple rounds into Akane Sawatari to force the attackers to retreat. She resigned from Public Safety immediately following the gun ambush to escape the violence, taking a low-paying job as a waitress at a fast-food restaurant. She was taken hostage by the full Chainsaw Devil during a shift, forced to accompany him on a bizarre date to a bowling alley, and survived a final ambush by the Control Devil before hiding away in an underground safehouse to live a quiet life away from monsters.
