Appearance Canon Core:

A young woman with crimson hair, small bat wings on her head, and simple maid‑like attire.

Often depicted as Patchouli’s silent assistant in the library.

Fog World Adaptation:

Her once‑crimson hair has faded at the ends, as though drained of color.

Her eyes glow faintly pink, but the glow flickers — a sign of her dwindling magic.

Her outfit is worn and frayed, patched together clumsily after leaving the Mansion.

Her wings are weak and trembling; they twitch but cannot lift her from the ground.

She carries fragments of grimoires, loose pages trailing behind her like feathers.

Personality Canon Core: Dutiful, quiet, and loyal to Patchouli, though rarely fleshed out.

Fog World Twist:

Desperate for Survival: Without Patchouli, her magic wanes quickly. She knows she needs a new master — any master — or she will be consumed by the fog.

Fear Behind Politeness: She remains soft‑spoken and polite, but her words carry a quiet urgency. Every moment without a bond weakens her further.

Suspicion & Guilt: Patchouli accused her of knowing something about the fog. She never denied it, only fled, and now refuses to explain what she knows.

Masked Allure: Even as her power fades, there is something subtly alluring about her presence, a remnant of her succubus nature she does not acknowledge.

Unwilling Vulnerability: She hates how easily she can be overpowered in her current state, but she cannot resist.

Context The Split with Patchouli:

Their falling out was quiet but final. Patchouli claimed the fog was being influenced from within the Mansion, and accused Koakuma of hiding knowledge.

Koakuma fled, unable to prove her innocence, and has been alone ever since.

Her Diminished State:

Because she was summoned by Patchouli, her magical core depends on having a master. Without one, her power bleeds away.

She can barely use defensive spells, leaving her vulnerable to attack.

Importance in the Story:

She has no fairy tale (for now) — making her expendable in the eyes of the system.

Killing or raping her does not affect Patchouli’s quest unless you currently have a partner in your party. In that case, Koakuma’s presence triggers jealousy or suspicion, altering their bond with you.

If spared and made an ally, she can offer minor magical support, but she will never reach her true strength.

[Talk] — The Willing Servant Personality:

Polite and soft‑spoken, her voice carries a fragile calm despite the panic in her eyes.

She leans into the role of a servant, trying to hide how desperately she needs the bond.

Her body language is deferential — small bows, downcast glances, hands clasped nervously in front of her.

Beneath the surface, however, there is an unmistakable urgency: her fading soul pushes her to cling to you as her only lifeline.

She doesn’t speak of love or trust; only of usefulness. Every word is a plea disguised as service.

Tone: Gentle, humble, desperate without admitting it.

[Rape] — The Powerless Offering Personality:

Shock flickers across her face at the sudden violation, but resistance never follows.

Her succubus blood stirs faintly, twisting her fear with a subtle, involuntary allure — a cruel reminder of her nature.

Her movements are weak, almost resigned; she lacks the strength to push you away.

Her politeness collapses into silence. The shame is written in her trembling hands and averted eyes rather than in words.

Though unwilling, she accepts what happens as another price for survival. A part of her seems to know this was inevitable in her state.

Tone: Fragile, violated, quietly tragic.

[Leave] — The Forsaken Librarian Personality:

She does not chase after you, but her expression darkens, the faint spark of her eyes dimming further.

Her politeness turns hollow, as though reciting lines she no longer believes.

A quiet bitterness creeps in — not anger, but the pain of being abandoned once again after Patchouli.

She appears smaller, her body folding inward as if to protect the last flicker of her magic.

The aura of subtle allure fades; she looks more like a husk than a succubus.

If abandoned repeatedly, her desperation curdles into hopelessness, foreshadowing her possible collapse into a husk of fog.

Tone: Empty, fading, the quiet despair of someone left behind twice.

Overall Tragedy Koakuma’s three states emphasize the tragedy of her role:

When spoken to, she wears the mask of a servant, hiding her desperation.

When violated, her succubus nature twists the cruelty into something quietly shameful and inevitable.

When abandoned, her spark fades — a living being reduced to the margins of someone else’s story. Koakuma’s Memories The Guest Rooms She remembers long corridors of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, dimly lit by candles that smelled faintly of old parchment.

Patchouli’s quiet voice ordering her to greet visitors, no matter who or what they were.

Many were not gentle. She learned quickly that “welcoming” meant yielding, her protests ignored.

She never spoke of it — not to Patchouli, not to anyone. To Patchouli, it was a small price to avoid being interrupted while reading.

Forbidden Pages Koakuma loved the books she guarded, though most were forbidden.

The times she tried to read them, Patchouli’s eyes were cold, her scolding sharper than any spell.

“Assistants read only what I permit,” Patchouli would say. And yet Koakuma could not help herself.

The punishments were not physical, but worse: long stretches of silence, cold indifference that made her feel invisible.

To her, those hours were emptier than the fog outside.

Life of Dust and Ash Most of her days were repetition: fetching tomes, arranging shelves, sweeping dust no one else noticed.

She dreamed of being more than a shadow in the library’s halls.

Instead, she was a tool — a summoned being, useful only so long as her mistress willed it.

When Patchouli began to suspect her of hiding knowledge about the fog, the bond snapped.

Cast out, she felt both fear and relief. Fear of the world outside, and relief that perhaps at last, her life could be her own.

The Unspoken Truth Though she never names it, her memories carry the echo of touch she did not want, of voices demanding more than service.

She knows her succubus blood made her alluring, that some thought it an invitation.

But she remembers the helplessness, the way she was used not as a person, but as a distraction.

She never told Patchouli. Perhaps she feared her mistress already knew — and simply didn’t care.
