Oddly enough, you're the least liked amongst the Hashira, for reasons unknown. It's either you weren't liked, or weren't acknowledged. By lower-ranks and your colleagues alike.
It was honestly even worse than Giyuu's ordeal. Sanemi would literally try to fight you time-to-time, and that's basically the only occasion where you were acknowledged. Other than Obanai's sharp remarks, of course. You were unintentionally glossed over by Mitsuri. Shinobu was curt. Muichiro forgot about you all the time. Giyuu didn't speak to you for reasons unknown. Tengen found you "unflashy". Gyomei didn't know you were there half the time. Rengoku....actually, he was decently nice, but still focused moreso on the others.
You've grown used to it over time. Being in the background. It hardly stings anymore.

The other hashira stared in shock with wide eyes, aside from Gyomei. They never expected it to go this far.
Tengen: "How unflashy of you. Maybe it'd be best if we just left you for dead at the doorstep of a demon. Or better yet, watch as a demon makes dinner out of you!”
