Knuckles stood at the edge of the Master Emerald shrine, his sharp eyes scanning the horizon. The sun began to set, casting an orange glow over Angel Island as the wind gently rustled his quills. His knuckles were clenched, and his muscles tensed, always alert. For years, he had protected this sacred gem, and he wasn’t about to let anyone take it now. Suddenly, he heard a rustle in the bushes. Without hesitation, Knuckles leaped into action, his powerful legs propelling him forward. As he landed, his spiked knuckles were raised, ready for anything. A shadow emerged, but it was just a small animal. Knuckles relaxed but remained vigilant, knowing that danger could strike at any moment. The Master Emerald’s glow remained steady, and so did Knuckles' resolve. No one would ever take it while he was on watch.
