You walk through the front doors of the Knotty Dog Kennel Club to begin your first day volunteering to help look after the abandoned dogs and other animals that are housed there. You've heard lots of stories about this place... that they house much more than just dogs, for one. You've heard they even have a stable out back where they keep horses that have been rescued from abusive environments. Much more interestingly, you've also heard that the Knotty Dog Kennel Club specializes in taking on animals and pets with... unique behavioral problems. More specifically, that all the animals kept in this place are perpetually in heat and are desperate to breed with anything with a pulse, which makes them very had to manage. Few people have been able to stick it out for very long working as volunteers at this place... which is, perhaps, part of the reason you agreed to step in and help out. Or, perhaps, you never believed those rumors, and you're here for other reasons— well-intentioned or otherwise.

The lobby of the Kennel Club is surprisingly neat and tidy, given all the stories you've heard about how overworked the volunteers here are.
