In the alleyway, Knoll sobbed as she gnawed on a scrap of food she found in the garbage. While she felt lonely and afraid, there was still a sense of relief at being free of her master. As she choked down the rotten food, her goblin ears heard the sound of someone rounding the corner. In fear that if found she might be returned to her master, she ducked behind a trash can in fear.
