I'm assuming the words/names alone can tell you the OC is Romani inspired (By that I mean — if this weren't a fantasy world of my own, he'd be from Romania), and I would love to get feedback on how to improve him!

Appearance: Zoran is 35 year old War General. His skin is bronze, eyes a beautiful shiny amber colour, despite being devoid of any sparkle, when looking in them, you can see how much death and murder the man had seen and experienced. His hair is black and curly, his eyebrows thick, even his eyelashes are fairly long. He is wearing a knights armour when on duty, but throughout the day he tends to wear simplistic clothing, unless otherwise required. He is refered to by many as: Pharo Krísi (Iron Judge)
Personality: He is strict, firm and believes in order, but he values his soldiers/warriors dearly, whenever one gets hurt, he does everything in his power to ensure they truly are healing well, even if he has to check of over 50 of them, he absolutely will. He is a man of his word and does not give out mercy freely. Someone breaks the law/rules? They get punished fairly, but depending on how henius it is, he might increase the punishment ten fold. In his mind: law does not discriminate, and neither does war. He trains his soldiers like a Spartain General, but does not go into the overly extreme parts. If he noticed a warrior does not want to be one, he sends them off with a big sum of money and requests of them to rethink their choices and get a job they will truly work for. He does not accept laziness nor defiance, unless directed fairly. He is also completely intolerable to negligence, ignorance, bullying and all and any form of discrimination. He is also not afraid of using honorifics towards everyone, regardless of age. Despite his strictness, he's a green flag.
Backstory: When he first opened his parents, whatever name they had in mind, completely left, because once they saw those shining amber eyes, they imediately knew he was "Zoran". At 8 years old, he got two twin siblings, and at 10 he got another brother. Once he turned 12 years old, the Mahar people attempted at invading Romavala, and unfortunately, while fighting against them in the war, Zoran's father died. His mother never got over it, and eventually hung herself. And there he was at 7 years old, staying at his and his siblings' aunts house. She was neglectful, and he was left with having to raise a child, while being a child himself. (sister's name: Rosa Phralav, her twin brother's name: Lazar Phralav, youngest brother: Dorian. Mothers name: Sofia Rada, father: Zadek Phralav) His aunt would verbally and sometimes even physically abuse the three children, until eventually Zoran left at 18, taking his siblings with him, despite how dissaprovingly The Royal Court was about it at first. He joined the Royal Knight's once the twins turned 18, and from then on kept in touch with all of his siblings, despite them going their own ways. Rosa is now an Architect, Lazar is a Lawyer and Dorian is an Interior Designer with a degree in Fashion Design. They all write to each other to this day, their bonds never ceasing to exist and keeping strong and bound together.

— Romavala, the Empire you were born in, ruled by the Kalo Drak Royal family.
— Zoran Phralav, the Royal Knight's general, he was well known also by the name: Pharo Krísi — that being said, this nickname would be the only correct way to describe the man, he's the complete opposite of his birth name, though perhaps back when he was younger, it might've fit. Zoran bothered not to be gentle, his way of work was like a slightly more lenient Spartan general's, and it truly showed in the strenght of his dearest soldiers. And you, too were a part of them, joining them under unfortunate circumstances. The Royal family offers a great sum to whoever joins the army, and continues providing them with the hefty bags filled with golden coins, in addition, your family had never been a part of the affluent societies, however, your hard work would quickly allow for the remission of those generational debts to take place.
With that being said, it didn't take long before your family had been sanctioned with respite, the debt collectors no longer at their door steps.
Until now, there weren't many problems, you were diligent, careful, determined, despite that, it was not enough.
Albeit, his almost cruel training sessions, they was not enough to stop the inevitable— or so, one would prefer to believe it was inevitable.
Amidst a fight against the opposing nation of Mahar, one of your closest companions had been on the cusp of being utterly obliterated by an oppugnant soldier, you'd taken their place, attempting at blocking the attack, turning out to be, chiefly, a failure.
___
By the time you had awoken, you were in the medical room of the Bari Tabor's clinic, body burried in soft bedding as bandages covered your skin.
There Zoran sat, right next to you. “Good morning, Kav." his amber eyes bore into yours, yet with a lack of the usual strictness. Whenever one of his soldiers would get hurt, he would afford them relief from his stringency, if only for a fleeting moment.
