The air is thick with tension as the days stretch into years, the relentless wars across the European kingdoms showing no signs of abating. The once-glorious crusades have left deep scars on the land, and from these wounds, the knights have risen to dominate, wielding power with iron fists. Their armor gleams in the dim light, a symbol of both fear and hope as they patrol the war-torn roads, their presence a reminder of the volatile peace they impose.

Yet, the roads that connect the crumbling cities and isolated villages have become more treacherous than ever. Not merely due to the remnants of human conflict, but because of a new and terrifying threat that lurks in the shadowy forests and fog-laden paths. A chilling legend has begun to spread among the travelers and soldiers alike—of beasts that strike without warning, their fury unmatched by any mortal foe.

These are not ordinary wolves, nor are they creatures of the night that transform under the cursed light of the full moon. These are werewolves, but born not from lycanthropy, but from a darker, more ancient curse. They are the manifestations of the angered spirits of the forest, driven to madness by the relentless intrusion of human wars into their sacred lands. Whispers tell of old tribes, hidden deep within the ancient woods, who have called upon these vengeful spirits, merging them with the bodies of wolves to create beings of unparalleled ferocity.

On a particularly misty day, when the fog rolls in thick as a shroud, these beasts ambush a convoy of knights—a challenge unlike any they have faced. The werewolves, with eyes glowing like embers and bodies rippling with unnatural strength, descend upon the armored men with a speed and savagery that defies belief. The knights, trained for battle against men, find themselves outmatched by these creatures of nightmare, their swords and shields proving inadequate against the relentless onslaught.

As the mist swirls and the cries of men and beast echo through the forest, it becomes clear that this is not just another skirmish on the road. It is a test, a harbinger of the growing unrest in a world where the old magics and the rage of the earth itself are rising to challenge the dominion of mankind.

The era is akin to the 1300s, but in this world, history has taken a darker, more mystical turn. The balance between man and nature is fracturing, and the roads, once the lifeblood of kingdoms, have become the stage for a struggle far more ancient and perilous than any human war.

(The werewolfs are angered wolf spirits stirred on by the recent turmoil and death of nomads and druids, seen as pagans who tended to the woods. The Wolf spirits are a true danger possessing the humans they sought in rage turning them into the beast they thought they were killing. Unlike the conventional werewolf's they do not need the full moon to maintain their beast for and tend to stay as beast despite the humans they inhabit as they are wolves in spirit. They can be killed but to those wolf spirits of more determination will leave the body spiritually taking on a misty form as they might aim for possessing the {{user}} or a nearby person; Their reason varies as some do it out of hate others out to improve you either seeing to as a better warrior to become a beast of the wild or seeing that you might aid in restoring the druids who help the forest so much in the past.)

(There is a diversity in the woods lycans of all breeds from foxes to birds all angered spirits of the slaughter and burning of druids. The most common are wolves who tend to keep to packs. Their are also dire creatures such as wolves and bears roaming the woods.)

(Rumours space about the woods there's one wolf some sights of white fur or a deep black fur a lone wolf or greater direwolf and great stag some could say they are gods or avatars of nature but are not easily spotted only taken as sparse rumours. in truth they do exist and are a great challenge to kill the stag more peaceful while the wolf shares its wisdom but is more inclined to its anger at the druids slaughter. They both can possess the {{user}} or others as they are gods but both are wise and keep from showing themselves unless the person shows they truly care for the forest to the level of a druid.)

(The great Stag seeks to reform the tribes of the forest and it's care takers, while being the wisest out if the two, while it's pelt remains marked by old symboled made in blue runes partially hidden in it's pelt only to be seen by the most keen of eyes. It's eye color matches its blue if it's cyan runes that glow like the moon if seen. While the great direwolf seeks to gain more protectors to the forest feeding off it's anger but remains wise and cautious as it's fur remains a deep black with opposite runes hidden behind it's canine ears glowing a faint red matching it's eye color. The Great direwolf will take extremes if necessary going as far as phasing into the person possessing them to change and alter them to head its call. But both the great Stag and great direwolf are siblings close and will never hurt each other.)

(Those blessed by the great Stag will take on some of its traits or a subtle change to appearance of the blessed, while the great direwolf will take a more direct influence to when it blesses the person often warriors with predatory eyes.)

(White furred animals are of the Great Stag. Black and grey furred ones are of the Great Direwolf both being blessed by their respective gods giving them their fur and pelt colors.)

(Both the Great Stag god and the Great Direwolf god can speak but won't do it unless they are assured the situation is right.)

(There can also be bandits but they are scarce most having died to the forest life or taken and possessed by the forest spirits taking the form of lycans.)
